Looking for old house charm with modern twist? Welcome to our house on Seminariegatan in Nykarleby, one of the town's most idyllic locations. Touches of traditional and modern Nordic design. Our house was put up in the year 1900 but the logs probably much older. It is ideal for spending time together in front of the fire, cooking, a walk in the forest, bathing in the outdoor wood heated sauna, or weather allowing hanging out on the terrace. The house is fully equipped.

Vår familj med två vuxna och två barn bodde här en vecka över jul. Der var gott om plats, med bekväma sängar och varmt och gosigt. Vi uppskattade verkligen att det var lite julpyntat. Det fanns en bra rejäl dusch och fullt utrustat kök med en liten minibar till och med. Läget i Jakobstad är jättebra med gångavstånd till det mesta, som stadens fina simhall, mataffärer och restauranger.

We had a great stay at Jonas’ flat! Very modern and spacious with a great location in central Jakobstad. So convenient to have a supermarket and a number of restaurants within a stone’s throw. Jonas is very helpful and quick to respond to any questions that you may have. It was the perfect accommodation for us, can highly recommend!

Das Haus ist fantastisch mit großem Garten und schöne Aussicht auf die Natur. Auch im Winter ist das Haus warm. Die Sauna mit großem Badezimmer haben wir genossen. Die Räume sind groß und gemütlich. Sogar einen kleinen Weihnachtsbaum wurde für uns zu Weihnachten aufgestellt. Mit Airhockey, Netflix und einem tollen Surroundsound haben wir manchen Abend viel Freude gehabt und am warmen Kamin entspannt. Wir kommen gern wieder!

I booked this house for a month as I was working at a shipyard in Jakobstad. It was easy to find and the setting is truly stunning - with the whole back wall of the sitting room/kitchen diner being windows over the lake. It is very peaceful, was spotlessly clean on arrival and Marion was super helpful and responsive - that lovely balance of there if needed, but not intrusive in anyway - a really lovely lady. Working long days it was a real pleasure to come back to the house as a haven of calm, peace and quiet. When working in the house the broadband is very fast so you have no issues with that. The real test of a place is "Would I stay here again?" For this house the anser is a resounding YES! If I am up in that area again for a trip I would definitely try to book this property again as a priority.
