This "farmhouse" style cottage is typical of homestead homes in the area. This is a modest historic home that began as a school house. Kadoka is a safe, quiet ranching community on the edge of the Badlands and I90. You will be 20 miles from the entrance to the Badlands National Park, 35 miles from Wall drug and 90 Miles from the Black Hills & Rapid City. This is a small community ( pop700 ). Late in the day or weekends can be very sleepy, limited amenities, but no traffic! Safe for solo.

Tree House camping cabin sits on the ranch next to our horse pasture, 6 miles to the Badlands NP headquarters. You can see the Badlands from the cabin door! This simple cabin has 2 queen sized beds (no bedding provided) full bath w/ hot water, soap & towels, walk in shower, AC, mini fridge, microwave, table & fire-pit. Guest favorite, ranch breakfast may be added up at the BNB for an additional fee, served at 7:30am with advance reservations required. All pets must be pre-approved for a $25 fee.

The Badlands Cedar Getaway
Relax with the whole family in this newly built ranch style home. This getaway has no TV or WIFI. It has two bedrooms, one bathroom with laundry, full kitchen and living room. All tastefully decorated in western theme. Come for a couple of nights or relax for a week! There is a Subway restaurant and two small cafes in town for the hungry or take a picnic to the Badlands after shopping at the local grocery store or Dollar General. All businesses close fairly early.

This a safe quiet uncluttered space, perfect for short stays in the area. This is a very quiet little town, close enough to I 90 to be a very convenient stop over, but far enough to be quiet. When then air is on, the basement tends to be on the cooler side. We are located 20 minutes from the Badlands National park, and and hour and 15 minutes east of Rapid City.
