Vacation rentals with lake access in Jackson County

William was an outstanding host, not only in the house and check-in instructions, but also having the house feel warm and welcoming to our us and our friends. They had snacks and cookies waiting for us even! The house and pool were gorgeous with great views of the lake and we couldn’t think of a better place to spend our vacation. There was plenty of space for us to relax and ample accommodations for me and our guests. Thank you, William, for such a great experience!

This home was exactly as described. Clean and cozy. The floor plan was perfect for meeting up with my son and his family. We were able to have a wonderful family bbq. The only thing I would suggest is putting a small tv in the bunk bed room for the small humans so the adults could congregate in the main living space (our 5 year old hogged the tv in the main space 🤣) Our beds/mattresses were way more comfortable than most hotels. We’ve now turned my son and daughter in law on to using Airbnb as well. Regina was wonderful!! Can say enough good about her attentiveness!!!!

Lake Lanier is a beautiful place to stay. We had a fantastic time.

This home was just what we needed to get away with our family. Close to Scoutland, on the lakefront and dog friendly. The kids enjoyed playing various games around thunderstorms. The kitchen had everything we needed. We will definitely keep this in mind for the future.

Excellent place to stay. Easy to find with plenty of room to park. We had 5 trucks and 2 boat trailers. It is a steep climb back from the boat dock but worth it.

We usually go to the beach but the lake house was a nice change. Quiet and restful. Big rooms and our group of 7 could spread out. Well appointed kitchen, several dining areas and outdoor seating. Used hot tub every day. Lots of blow up water toys and life jackets. Spent one day at the water park also, about 35 minutes away. Lake pretty peaceful on north end- a few jet ski riders were worrisome so kids stayed close to dock. Upper deck great for yoga and sunning. Lisa responded quickly to any questions. Highly recommend !

Really nice place to spend the weekend for an event we attended about 30minutes away. Host was responsive and the place was clean and well furnished. Will definitely stay again when back in the area.

Great location, and close to lakeside park. We enjoyed sitting on the dock and activities on the lake, which we did from the park about 1 mile away. Our schedule changed and Alexandra willingly accommodated us - very nice! We will be back.

Convenient location with a great view. Clean bathroom and comfortable sleeping arrangement. Host was quick to respond and communicated well. Would recommend to others.

Comfortable place to stay in a quiet neighborhood! There's a nice little pond nearby if you like taking a scenic walk. The bathroom is spacious and the shower is big and luxurious. Thelma is a gem of a host and is so friendly. Cons are: One of the neighbors has chickens so you may hear roosters crowing in the morning. It's a basement apartment so yes you may see some spiders and webs in the beams of the ceiling. The bedroom is a bit of a tight space with what looks like a full size bed and some prayers written on the wall. Overall though, I would definitely stay again.

The place was beautiful. The view from the living room/ kitchen of the lake was awesome. The only con I would say was if you struggle with knee problems the walk to and from the lake/dock was rough as it's a climb getting back to the house. My 65 year old father struggled with that, but overall, it was a fantastic place.

Beautiful house in the middle of the peaceful woods right above Lake Hartwell that has everything you ever dreamed of and is wonderful for any time of the year! The owners are really friendly and have equipped the space with everything you need for a perfect stay, great for both vacation and remote work. The two-story indoor space is comfortable and tastefully decorated. The spacious upstairs porch with table, chairs, grill, and TV is also a great living and working area. Plus there’s a covered dock with chairs to enjoy the lake scene while soaking up the sun, kayaks to explore the inlets, and even a firepit for well-rounded outdoor living!

We stayed here for the weekend while my son visited a local college. The house was beautiful and cozy! So many extra details and amenities were included that made it the perfect stay. The road to the house was narrow with part being gravel and part paved. We had no issues though getting to the house in our 2-wheel drive truck. We visited Toccoa Falls, Stumphouse Tunnel, Isaqueena Falls, and Hartwell Wildlife Safari; all were within 30 min from the house. The firepit was nice at night to sit around and we did a little fishing off the dock. We only wish we could have stayed longer! Would definitely recommend and we'll be back!.

Stayed for about 3 weeks for work and enjoyed the area. Very peaceful location right on the water. Felt right at home the whole time

We had a lovely stay. The cottage is tucked into its wooded lot and feels like a private retreat. Between relaxing on the dock, or napping in the screened pavilion, or exploring on kayaks there was something for our entire family to enjoy across the three generations on our trip.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Zoe's house. The house was close to Lake Lanier Olympic Park and Laurel Park, and not far from the downtown. Zoe's artwork, furnishings, sheets, towels and candles really set the home apart from other places at which I have stayed. We look forward to our next stay.

We were in Dawsonville for a wedding, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home with peaceful surroundings! Everything was spotless, and the welcome snacks were a thoughtful added touch! The screened-in porch was a favorite for morning coffee (and, thanks to the outdoor flatscreen, for nighttime NCAA basketball final four!). We loved having access to the lake with the short stroll through the woods down to the dock. The home is so inviting…we wish we would’ve had more time to just hang out and relax…by the water, on the porch, around the fire pit, or in the comfy indoor spaces!
