Here you will meet old Norwegian building traditions from the Viking Age and from our indigenous people, the Sami. Charming cabin on the water's edge of Otra, with its own small beach and fishing dish. The cabin has a kitchenette with two hot plates, coffee maker, fridge and the most necessary kitchenware. No running water, but enough drinking water and washing water are provided. Toilet in your own building wall-in-wall with the cabin which is undisturbed on a sheep pasture. Free parking about 50 meters away. Great hiking terrain/close-up trips! Tømmerrenna is just nearby and should be experienced (google it). The same applies to the Setesdal Line

Cozy cabin with electricity and internet at Kleppvannet in Birkenes municipality. The cabin is about 100 sqm and sleeps 6 + a baby bed. The property has several swimming areas (for big and small) and great fishing opportunities. Canoe, trampoline with safety net, various indoor/outdoor games and fishing equipment can be borrowed. The cabin has no running water, but drinking water is provided in water cans. There is an outhouse and shower in the outhouse next to the cabin.

10 min from R9. 20 min from Vennesla. 30 min from Kristiansand and 45 min from Kristiansand Zoo. If GPS leads you onto a gravel road about 7 km from the cabin, you must find an alternative route. The road has a boom at both ends. 100m from bike route 3 Very fast internet. Swimming area in the river 50 m from the cabin . Many hiking trails. Rowboat can be borrowed from about April to about November. A lot of small fish in the river. No need for a fishing license.

An old farm in the middle of the forest. If you're lucky, you can see wild animals and birds from the windows early in the morning or foxes, hares, moose or deer in the evening/night that come to drink in the pond. Cut down your own Christmas tree and decorate it if you rent at Christmas or take it home if you rent earlier in December. Berry or mushroom trips are recommended in season. Interesting area for amateur geologists with quarries "everywhere".
