Very well located accommodation, in the center of Mont Dore with all the shops and hikes nearby (free parking a few meters away). It was a very clean apartment with beautiful views, a spacious bathroom, and laundry facilities in the basement! (Just remember to provide toilet paper as well as oil, etc. for the kitchen)

It was a pleasure to discover the region from this accommodation: with many interesting sites and hikes close to (35 min max) the accommodation: Lake Chambon, Besse, Puy de Sancy, Puy de Pariou, Puy de Dôme, Vulcania... We had an unforgettable week of vacation at this beautiful Auvergne home. The layout is very well thought out, the grounds are large and perfectly fenced, which was ideal for the safety of our little Beagle. The calm that reigns and the breathtaking views of the surrounding nature invite you to relax and rejuvenate. The house is also a perfect starting point for hiking lovers, with a trail station nearby and many trails accessible from the village. Jacqueline welcomed us warmly, she was very responsive and available throughout our stay. A big thank you also for the welcome gift, both for us and for our little dog — a delicate attention that touched us a lot. Everything matched the listing and photos perfectly. Between sports activities and moments of rest, this week was perfect… even the weather was there! We'll be happy to go back!

I was able to walk and hike without a car from the house.It was a 15-minute drive to ride a horse, and Usson, Nonette, etc. were very good.We enjoyed our 7-night stay.

Anciènne École in Le Monestier _Hidden gem in beautiful landscape We highly recommend the Anciènne École in Le Monestier as a holiday center. With a lot of love for detail, it is authentic and a good base for 2 couples to explore the interesting and diverse surroundings. Traditional cities such as Thiers, Le Puy en Velay, Clermont-Ferrand or panoramic views from Puy de Dôme or Puy de Sancy or lonely hiking trails with forest, heath, streams and paper mills were just waiting for us to discover them. In addition, it is a paradise for bikers with many varied and curvy roads. Andrew and Gail are very loving hosts you can talk to at any time. Thanks for three great weeks with you. We will be happy to come back.

We had a lovely family stay at Stéphane and Julie's. The accommodation is spacious and functional. The apartment is very well equipped and my child was happy to have a room with several toys to have fun as well as stories to fall asleep. We didn't miss a thing. Just provide a night mask if the daylight is disturbing in the bedrooms upstairs. It is in a great location and right next to the city center. The environment is quiet and peaceful and parking is very easy. Julie was very responsive in answering our questions and the information was clear. We recommend this listing. Thanks for everything.

Jacques is an available host and concerned about our well-being. The apartment is very nice, with a beautiful view of the waterfall and snow-capped mountains. Ideally located (right next to the tourist office and shops). The apartment is not large, but it doesn't feel that way because it is very well furnished and very well-equipped. There's even a fondue machine and raclette machine. It has a room to store skis and après-ski gear. We had a lovely stay there, and if I go back to Mont Dore I will come back if possible to this apartment. Recommended!
