Waterfront vacation rentals in Isle of Arran

We had a lovely stay at Katrina’s, what a wonderful location! Very comfortable apartment, had everything that we needed. Katrina met us and showed us around and shared some wonderful tips for finding the best beaches, restaurants, spotting the seals and pirates!

Es war ein super Aufenthalt. Simon hat mich persönlich empfangen und ich durfte sogar früher als abgemacht in die Unterkunft. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt! Wirklich empfehlenswert. Es gab sogar ein extra Hunde Zimmer. Danke :)

The flat was perfect for our holiday! The view from the front windows is stunning with lots of different things to look at. The beds were clean and comfortable and the flat is very well equipped. We found Troon town centre an easy walk away and we used the ferry terminal nearby to visit the Isle of Arran.

Mandy is a great host always very quick to respond. We had a very comfortable stay in her spacious apartment. Everything you could want for a home from home. Position is ideal with Inverkip village a short walk away, with there local village hotel for something to eat and a few drinks. You can get the local bus from the village. There is also the Chartroom only a short stroll from apartment if you want somewhere closer to eat and drink. Inverkip train station is close to catch a train to Glasgow.

We all had a great time at Claudios flat. It is clean, comfortable and really homely. The view across the bay is stunning and there is always something happening on the water to watch. Claudio was very friendly and helpful when he met us to let us in and responsive to messages. All together an excellent break in a great location. Strongly recommend

We were delighted with the our stay in this Airbnb. The flat is beautiful, and the view overlooking the harbour is just perfect. We found that we had everything that we required for our stay in the flat. The location is ideal for all the amenities, 4 tea rooms on the street below. The weather was absolutely gorgeous which added to our enjoyment of our stay in Rothesay.

Highly enjoyable, but ideally it would have received 4.5 stars. The negative aspect of this apartment was the rather noisy boiler situated in the second bedroom.

We had a great night here. Cosy, but perfect for a couple. Well equipped kitchen, good bed and shower. Very central but no problem parking opposite

Wow! Wow! Wow! We were totally blown away by how amazing this place is. What a beautiful, characterful home. Very easy space to relax in, with everything you need and more. Stunning location. Sitting in the window or on the front porch the views were mesmerising. Half an hour to Loch Lomond and The Cobbler. Discovered the sailing club across the road and watched sailing races while enjoying a G&T. Brian the host is so helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again when we visit this part of Scotland. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

Andrew's place is superb. He met us with a warm welcome and then we were shown our room which has the most incredible view out across the garden and the sea to the Holy Isle. Everything you need is provided for --extremely comfortable bed, very well supplied kitchen and a sparkling bathroom. For me one of the priorities in choosing an air b n b is that it should be accessible for me as a disabled person. Andrew's place fits the bill as i was able to easily access the 2 steps at the front of the bungalow on my sticks and then, again easily, transfer to using wheels around the property. Thanks again Andrew!

Secluded, peaceful, private property with a river at the bottom of the garden. Bright, airy, clean, well furnished accommodation. Loved the log burner. Very well attended clean hot tub. Owners were very attentive for any needs should they be required but not intrusive at all. The bedrooms were clean and well furnished with fully equipped bathrooms - upstairs and downstairs. Great towels provided. Plenty of space to have a quiet time inside or outside from the hot tub or seating area at the large table with chairs. Beautiful views of the river and fields through the French doors. Nice touch of freshly baked scones welcomed us on arrival. Unfortunately we could not spend much time enjoying the property over our 3 day stay due to our daughter’s wedding but we would definitely love to return again. A great property to spend time as a family with children as there is an outside play area for children and huge amount of board games and toys available in the house.

We loved our week at Simon’s place. Beautiful, peaceful and lots of lovely places and beaches to visit. Seals and dolphins passed by. Loved the kayaks. House was warm and comfortable with great facilities. We hope to come back!

Superb property. The house was very comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms all a good size and plenty of living space. The views across the loch are amazing. The kids loved playing hide and seek in the large garden, which is very private and not overlooked. We should have made more of the outside patio with the well appointed garden furniture. Lynn the host sent us really useful info about things to do and places to eat in the area. We did quite a few and they were all great recommendations. She also responded to queries about activities really quickly and checked in to make sure everything about our stay was going ok. Location is really good. Easy access to nearby Rhu and Helensburgh. We found it a good base from which venture out for a range of activities and big enough to spend time in the garden and house - and enjoy the views. A great property and brilliant host. We would highly recommend.

The property was fantastic being very well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location was stunning with wonderful views and direct access to a private beach. Spotting wildlife from the house felt special, particularly the otter sighting. The extra touches in the house including a welcome pack, were much appreciated.

It’s very difficult to describe Ewa and John’s house and do it proper justice. It’s a beautiful, unique property in a stunning location. The house is even more spacious than the photographs suggest. The house is extremely well equipped and has everything appliance you could think of! The hot tub is amazing. We were there during a powerful storm but that didn’t stop us from enjoying everything the house has to offer. Wonderful bathrooms, extremely comfortable beds, luxurious linens…the list goes on. Ewa and John are extremely generous and welcoming hosts who were in touch with instructions beforehand and were available if we needed anything during our stay. We felt like it was a home away from home and wish it was our actual home! We will hopefully be back again soon. Thank you for making a birthday trip so special and memorable!

What a wonderful place! We loved it and it felt like a home away from home. On our tour through Scotland this was the most amazing place! Helen is such a welcoming helpful host thank you.

John and Fran were one of the few hosts who actually met us in person. They made us feel so at home and provided a whole lot of extras that you would get at a house, like cooking ingredients, board games, cleaning equipment, etc.

We had a lovely stay in Dunoon, it is a very quiet a peaceful place and we really enjoyed our stay. Paddy is friendly and helpful and her dog is beautiful and very sweet. Both beds were very comfortable, the shower was warm and powerful and the homemade bread was a great touch- we thoroughly enjoyed! Thank you again :)

The location was absolutely pristine with the most breathtaking views from every window. We slept so well! Jill and Simon were so proactive and easy to communicate with. we felt very welcome and loved our stay!

We love the flat, have stayed several times, suits all our family’s needs whose ages vary from 1 right up to 80!!

Wij werden warm welkom geheten door Cathy. Die brood en shortbread en jam voor ons had klaarliggen. Die zij zelf had gemaakt😋. De verhuurders waren makkelijk bereikbaar als wij zij nodig hadden. In de flat was alles aanwezig wat wij nodig hadden en wij kregen duidelijke instructies over het functioneren van het apparatuur Verder hadden wij een fantastisch uitzicht op Loch Long en de bergen. Prachtige tuin aanwezig en terras met prachtige planten. En vooral niet te vergeten een mooie op 5 minuten loopafstand om de hond uit te laten. Dit is een plek die wij zeker zullen boeken mochten wij weer eens de hooglanden bezoeken.😃

Great host, great apartment and a great holiday! We really appreciated how thoughtful Vincent was - from leaving fresh milk and some Scottish biscuits for us, to making sure that the apartment was equipped with everything we needed. Cove was also a wonderful surprise - what a beautiful place! We would highly recommend both Vincent's apartment and Cove to anyone.

I had a really nice time in Helensburgh and especially at the apartment. It had everything I needed. The bed was super comfy! The flat is really close to the Central trainstation, but quit a walk from the Upper trainstation. I underestimated that walk uphill. The flat is close to the waterfront, which I loved! All in all my stay was very nice and I can absolutely recommend it!
