Cabin vacation rentals in Iron River

This place was such a good weekend get away! This cabin is super private which we loved. So much wild life! and they had lots of fun activities to offer! Lovely space!

If you want to be close to Duluth, yet away enough to have peace and quiet, this is your spot. Tucked away, cute, comfortable, with a host that wants you to have a great experience. Yet close enough to drive into town for dinner, drinks, or any other Duluth excursions.

We loved our stay at Birch Haven. It is a lovely home, well supplied, decorated and just perfect for our family vacation. We love to watch birds and we saw eagles, osprey and a lot of warblers that we don't often have the opportunity to see. The fireplace was perfect for cool evenings. The kitchen was well supplied and we had a wonderful time making our family dinners. This is a wonderful home and having it on Lake Superior made it a fabulous experience.

Absolutely exceptional cabin in rural Wisconsin! The space was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, making it feel cozy and luxurious. We had a wonderful time relaxing in the hot tub and watching the beavers by the water—such a peaceful and unique experience. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at this beautiful and very private cabin. Obviously the photos are gorgeous and we knew we were going to love the overall feel, but it truly is wonderful being there. The giant windows open to the lake view and surrounding woods is heaven and are the part that I miss the most now that we're home. We really liked the fact that the cabin has a lived in feel (in the best way). I was worried that it would be TOO perfect and I wouldn't want to touch anything. LOVED the sauna so so much and it was beyond amazing that our lab was able to come with us. They had all the kitchen appliances/tools you'd need and having life jackets to use was awesome. I think reviews are such a good way to gain feedback from guests so I'll just list a few improvements/preferences here: softer sheets, a scissors, and a mop/swiffer to keep the floors clean. This cabin was very very tranquil and quiet during the week which is exactly what we were hoping for. We'd love to come back in the winter!

Beds were comfy and the surroundings were beautiful. Kitchen has essentials which were helpful and hot tub was wonderful.

Great communication. Wonderful location for our anniversary getaway. Loved being so close to the lake while enjoying the Jacuzzi. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Would definitely return.

Cozy and Comfy…had a good kitchen with everything we needed. Nice outdoor space. Great for games and relaxing.

A very good place to base exploration of the surrounding area. Has all the amenities that parents with young children need including a folding crib, high chair, playground, and a safe interior space for them to play. Very well-appointed interior, fully equipped kitchen, nice bathroom. We plan to stay here every time we need a place to stay around here.

This cabin was a perfect location between visiting Pattison/Amicon State Parks and the Bayfield area. The cabin was clean and extremely cozy. And it was pet friendly to be able to bring our lab with exploring all this area has to offer!

This A-frame is to die for!! Seriously the cutest place. Very peaceful and cozy in the center of nature. You truly are secluded and have lots of privacy. We didn’t realize how far away we were from things but just a 20 minute drive to iron river did the trick if needed last minute things from a dollar general. You’re only an hour-ish away from Lake Superior — it was fun driving through the forest highways! We grilled out 2 nights at the cabin using the charcoal grill that worked perfectly! Host responded fast when we had questions. The bed was so comfy as well! The host has a captioned picture of the indoor fireplace in use but in the book at the cabin you’re instructed not to use it, that was pretty much the only bummer due to the weather being on the cooler side of 50s-60s but we cozied up outside with the fire pit, played games (lots of games and movies host offers) and made s’mores! It was the perfect little getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary! :)

Perfect location for riding CAMBA trails and close to Cable! We’ll definitely be back. There’s a bike shop right there in case you need anything, and the Telemark and Birkie finish are just around the corner.

My two kids and I stayed at Little Sisu for a few days to kick off summer vacation. The small, quiet lake was very peaceful and we loved canoeing over to the beach and park.

Brandi and her place was amazing! Fit all our needs, close to our event in solon springs but still felt like we were in the middle of the woods. Great views of the water from the living room table. Very clean and tidy. Would 100% recommend!

Staying at Kevin’s cabin was truly the cherry on top of my incredible trip to Iron River. Gorgeous views, plenty of parking for truck and sled dog trailer, adjacent to what is now one of my favorite restaurants, and very helpful host. I would hope to stay here again next winter!

Tia is terrific. we've stayed at this location the past four years now, and anytime we have a question or need something, Tia answers within minutes. The cottage is cozy and has everything you need.

This place was absolutely incredible. It is so cozy and homey with everything you need! The views and beachfront are unbeatable! The grill, fire pits, kayak/paddle board all accessible to us made us not want to leave. It is so peaceful and well kept. The hosts went out of their way to recommend great food/drinks, check in on us, and even about the Strawberry moon that was rising one night. Could not recommend more!

Cory’s place was 10/10. Beautifully decorated and furnished, a kitchen with anything you could need for making it a home away from home, comfortable beds, clean. I could go on and on. It really is just the perfect little peaceful oasis. The treehouse is adorable and it’s surrounded by nature: bird sounds in the morning, beautiful trees and other wildlife too! The fully screened in porch was so appreciated as well; we were able to enjoy evenings with cozy lighting and no bugs! Truly one of the best air BNB experiences we’ve had!

This was our second stay at this beautiful lake house, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered! Even though the weather wasn’t perfect this time, the house more than made up for it—it’s modern, clean, and has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. We really appreciated the hosts' recommendation to check out the local indoor pool, which was a fun way to spend a rainy few hours. The lake is incredibly clear and peaceful—such a calming view to wake up to. Our kids had a blast fishing and paddling around in the paddle boat. The whole trip flew by way too fast, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again. A new local favorite for us this trip was Redemption Cafe—an absolutely adorable outdoor spot that’s perfect for a coffee break, ice cream, and antiques. Highly recommend stopping by! This house continues to be a special retreat for our family!

Wonderful place and great host. Brian was always accessible and responsive. The place is lovely and clean with updated amenities. New appliances, washer and dryer were extremely helpful. Place is private and quiet, great to relax and unwind. Would definitely recommend.

Stefan’s place was extremely clean and well kept. It was everything he said it would be. He was a very accommodating host and communicated very well. We can’t say enough good things about our experience. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you very much Stefen !!!

We loved this cabin. Comfortable and super easy to get to the State Parks nearby. The sauna was lovely, cozy bed, great views of the lake. The only downside is the traffic noise from 61 but it was only noticeable if the windows were open. But the convenience of the location far outweighed that. So much to do nearby!

Beautiful, serene, private, and peaceful. Thank you for sharing this beautiful cabin with us. We are always looking for a quiet place we can enjoy the nature around us and this checked every single box. Super close to dozens of trails, but some days we didn’t even feel like leaving the cabin! The sauna and arcade games were an added bonus. Definitely enjoyed the nostalgia of Dig Dug :) thanks again!
