Vacation rentals with a kayak in Iron County

The house is very large, beautiful and clean. The view of the lake from the window is stunningthis, is truly a 5-star house!

Almost everything about our stay was perfect. We loved the kayaks and the beautiful lake, it was absolutely peaceful. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the cooking items we needed. We hope to stay again in the future!

Homeowner was very responsive. Location was perfect as a base for travels. Did a little fishing and kayaking. Great deck overlooking the lake.

Beautiful cabin with ample space, access to a lake that we had to ourselves. Very clean, had all the amenities, was just like the pictures only better. Good WiFi strength. Just a bit hard to spot the entrance. Overall great place, highly recommend it.

Nice Little cabin for a winter getaway. Worked good for our snowmobile trip. Trail isn’t too far from the cabin as well.

Absolutely loved our stay! Such a quaint little place right off the water and great access to the trails. We brought up two gooseneck trailers with 5 sxs and had plenty of room to park and maneuver our things. The entire house was so cozy and we just loved our stay! Tracy was very responsive and had FANTASTIC information for us to things to do, local places, and directions for us to get things in order. We so very much appreciated our stay and would love to come back to the area and this is definitely a spot to stay! Thank you so much Tracy!

We've stayed at numerous places in the Hurley/Mercer area as we go up there every Memorial weekend to go riding, and the Tahoe Getaway was easily the nicest and most accurately described. We always run into issues with parking, since our group has multiple large trailers, and John was the first to accurately describe the available parking and be honest about how much parking was available (there's tons!). The cabin is beautiful and very well done. We've been to a few places where the pictures look great but were sorely disappointed when we arrived, but that wasn't the case with this place. The only (minor) "negative" is that it's a bit of a drive to get from the cabin to the main trail system. There's a large trail that heads north/south along 51 that is the primary artery to get to other trails and it gets tedious traveling it repeatedly over the course of a few days when trying to get to the northern system, but definitely not a deal breaker and we all felt the cabin was worth it.

Loved the serenity of the place. Had deer walking through the yard every morning! We had 8 guests and the place facilitated our NYE group very well. Ample sleeping arrangements, lots of games and a game room. Great Place!

Beautiful cabin with easy access to snowmobile trail! We also loved that it was so close to Lazy Ace Saloon, which is a favorite when in the area. Hosts were great with communication. I would recommend if staying in the cold months to have heat turned up well before checkin as the heat takes a while to warm up the entire cabin. The beds were sooooo comfortable & all the hooks were very convenient for hanging sled gear. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again! Thanks so much!!

Our stay at the Lakefront Mercer Cabin was exceptional. The cabin was comfortable and clean, and its location was great. Our group appreciated the updates to the bathrooms, kitchen, and living area and the vinyl collection is legit. We used this as a basecamp to do some cross country skiing and snow biking in the area and found it to be an ideal launching spot. The lake is quiet and beautiful; abounding with wildlife. We'd love to come back in the summer to do some kayaking. The guest contact, Dave was proactive, responsive, and friendly. We would definitely recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a comfortable space with history and charm; all with the comforts of home.

Beautiful property right on lake. Fishing was plentiful. The games in the game room were great to pass time on rainy days. Cabin was large and spacious. Host checked in on us during our stay to see how things were going. We plan on staying again when visiting the area!

If you are looking for a very nice place to stay and enjoy a nice, quiet lake unplugged from the stress of everyday life, this is a great place to stay. Private driveway with two porches for enjoying the large front yard. Very shallow boat dock with the option of using the kayaks. Pictures are lower quality, but the house is nice.

Very short notice booking and Tim was unbelievably helpful. Trust the map he sends, trust the map not your own thoughts lol. Lake was peaceful and everyone seemed to be catching fish. Highly recommended The White Oak restaurant. Beyond amazing and well priced for the quality. Great night and will return with friends.

The gorgeous A Frame cabins were so perfect for our end of summer family trip! We rented out both homes (house 1 + 2), we were so glad that there are 2 full bathrooms in each house, comfortable beds and sofas, the kitchen is fully stocked and functional. Such clean and cute cabins, we especially loved the large patio and fire pit. We took a day trip to Bayfield and over to Big Bay State Park where my now Fiancé proposed. It was so beautiful being back at the cabin at night with the patio lights and gorgeous cabins, this will forever be a memorable trip and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
