Vacation rentals with a kayak in Intracoastal Waterway

Excellent location, beautiful, well appointed home with outdoor deck access from virtually every room, gorgeous views. Very clean and spacious - perfect for multifamily or multigenerational get togethers. Lovely that each bedroom had an en suite bathroom. Elevator is a huge added bonus for initial unload and packing up. Very well stocked kitchen with cooking equipment, utensils and ample storage. Easy to get to Wilmington which is a great town to explore. Emily is a terrific host who is very accessible and kind. Cannot recommend Emily or her beautiful home more highly! Thank you Emily!!!

Perfect house and location for our family! Easily walkable to the beach, even for our four year old. The house was very clean and we felt right at home. 5/5 would recommend!

This was a wonderful housing experience! The house was cozy and clean and had plenty of space for all the members of our family. It was in a fantastic location that was extremely convenient for us to get to stores and restaurants. Would 10/10 recommend. Staying at Anthony’s was like stepping back to a more gracious time ( with all the modern conveniences) . Sitting on the front porch for morning coffee & afternoon tea , looking through the trees draped in Spanish moss , was a rare gentle & civilized ‘ southern treat ‘ for all of us. Many thanks!

We enjoyed our stay over spring break. The arcade and game room were enjoyed by all. There were plenty of places to sleep our family of eleven. We loved the location and the ability to bike to several places including the beach.

Monica’s place was beautifully decorated with a fun music theme, spotless, and fully stocked with all the essentials which made our stay incredibly comfortable. She was friendly, responsive, and made everything easy from start to finish. The location was perfect at just a 5-minute drive to downtown Wilmington and close to Wrightsville Beach. Highly recommend staying here!

I can’t say enough good things about Chris and his home. The house was a nice walking distance to the beach and Chris provides everything you could possibly need to enjoy the day on the beach for adults and kids. There is nothing missed. The outdoor shower was a blessing after coming off the beach, especially for cleaning off my 3 grandsons without bringing the sand in the house. Chris also provides everything you need in the home, to kitchen supplies, bath supplies and infant items (high chair, pack and play). The back screened in porch was so relaxing and we had every meal sitting outside without the worry of bugs :). He is also very present with communication before, during and the last day of our stay and always had kind words. We had a great time and his home will definitely be our first choice for the next time we look for a place to stay on the island. Thank you Chris!!

Kevin was an amazing host! The house was spacious and beautiful. About a 10 minute walk to beach. Close to Kure beach and the southern part of Carolina beach. Right down the street from the tiki bar!

This is a beautiful home. We really enjoyed our stay. This home is in a beautiful neighborhood. Everyone was very friendly. Short walk to the beach and canal. Golf cart is definitely worth having as everything you would want to do is just a short ride and offers free parking. Home is equipped with everything you would need. Very clean and private. Great if you have kids. Homeowner is great as he always responded quickly to any questions I had prior to our arrival. Once you are there, the detailed instructions provided will guarantee a great stay. Definitely recommend and hope to return again.

We loved our stay here! Such a cute and comfy cottage, perfect for a beach trip; it comes stocked with pretty much everything you could ask for. Loved that it was walking distance to so many shops and restaurants, as well as beach access points, while also being tucked away down the street for a peaceful and quiet night's sleep. The house was just as described and in pristine condition. The location was in a quiet area with plenty of local attractions and great dining within a few short miles. Sharlene checked in throughout our stay to make sure we had all we needed. Small instruction notes throughout the house as well as the guest book made our stay a breeze!

We had a fantastic stay at Lake Waccamaw! The home was spotless when we arrived, and the location right on the lake was absolutely beautiful. We loved having access to the kayaks and took full advantage of them during our stay. The grill and all the included accessories made it easy to enjoy meals outdoors. Communication with Mr. Sam was excellent he reached out the day before to provide all the information we needed and let me know I could call him anytime if anything came up. His hospitality really stood out and made our stay even better. We would definitely book again for a future trip to Lake Waccamaw. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, lakefront getaway!

We had such a wonderful stay at this cozy vintage beach cottage! Tucked away on a quiet, peaceful street, it was the perfect retreat for a relaxing getaway. The welcoming front porch was a favorite spot to sip morning coffee and enjoy the breeze. Inside, the cottage has a charming coastal vibe with vintage touches that add character and warmth. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into making it both stylish and comfortable. The space was clean, well-kept, and incredibly well-supplied with everything we needed—from kitchen essentials to beach gear. If you're looking for a place with personality, tranquility, and easy access to Oak Island’s beautiful beaches, this cottage is a fantastic choice. We’d definitely come back!

This was our second time staying at this house. It’s very comfortable, beds have great mattresses, kitchen has everything you need. The walk to town is safe and easy. Savoir Latin restaurant is 5 minute walk, fabulous food. Highly recommend this location. Tucked away from traffic, driveway parking and relaxing front porch.

Dr.Floyd's place was a great stay for our family. We really enjoyed watching the birds and wildlife off the back deck. The pool was nice also. We rented a golf cart to get around the area which has the beach, restaurants, bars, shops, etc... Most everything is also walkable. We would definitely recommend Dr. Floyd's place to anyone who enjoys peace and quiet with a great view, and fun just steps away. Would love to stay again.
