We were happy to stay in the quiet house with view on the lake and mountains. We loved to have a breakfast in the terrace in the front of the house and having barbecue. Øyvind was very nice and helpful. We would recommend this apartment to stay. There are several beautiful hiking tours (e.g. Høgevarde).

Nice spacious house for two people, good beds, beautiful veranda.Vidar welcomed us very friendly and took immediate action in the event of a leak in the bath.The lake was within walking distance, great for swimming, but unfortunately the weather wasn't good so we didn't do that.

We only had a quick stay but we enjoyed it! The cabin was in a beautiful area. We did struggle a little with directions but that was because the Norwegian to English translation through Airbnb is not the best. We also had problems with getting the washer to work, but the host responded quickly to help and was understanding of the situation. This cabin is a great deal for the area and would recommend it.

We made a stop at Hege on the trip to Norway. Everything was great, Hege and her husband are very nice. Super quiet location. We will be happy to come back.

Everything was very good. It's just a cabin with 3 beds in it. That's enough to sleep. Everything clean and tidy. Storing luggage before check-in was no problem on request and the next day Ruben even showed me a nice viewpoint and drove me to the train station. Solid accommodation and a very loving and open host. I am highly recommended it! :)

Absolutely stunning views and a lovely clean place to stay

We came for a relaxing weekend and hiking and we had absolutely great time. House is perfect, cosy and authentic, we loved it. It is made of very supreme materials and very well decorated. Elena was a great host 😇 We would like to come again.

Perfect place to stay. Great surroundings, nice views, apartment well equipped, communication with the host is perfect.

Pretty amazing little triplex with: 1st Floor: An entrance 2nd floor: dining room, kitchen and bathroom 3rd floor: a small bedroom under the attic. The apartment is connected to the owners house even if it remains independent. However, the partitions are hardly thick. And the big bonus: the great view of Oslo Bay!

We have stayed at this location for the 4th year, we love Ole’s style of decorating and his hospitality so much! This year we stayed in this smaller cabin and not the large house. This place is cozy, fits 2-4 adults easily in bunk beds. The dining room is beautiful, and there are art pieces and antiques everywhere. Ole remodeled this blacksmith’s shop himself, and turned it into a to this masterpiece. He also made some of the furniture in the unit. The kitchen is exquisite, although could use seating area for hanging out with the cook during cooking meals :-). The grounds are impressive, will share it with 3 other AirBnB rental cabins/house. The Finnish sauna is perfect in the barn, and the views of the valley are gorgeous! We will be back every year, since this place will stay vivid in your dreams all year long!

The cabin was really cosy and nearby a beautiful lake where we spent most of our after dinner evenings. The washrooms are clean and the water pressure is really good for a nice refreshing warm shower. We loved the place and would stay there again. Thanks Steinar for hosting us!

Very cozy cabin with ski in ski out. We enjoyed the fish in the water. Unfortunately, the cabin service had missed cleaning before we arrived but the host arranged very well. They showed up in 15 minutes and cleaned when we went skiing. Super nice hostess and lightning fast communication.

The house is very good if you're going to ski at the resort. In a quiet area. Important, there are no sheets or towels. To keep in mind. And the heating can't be set to more than 18 degrees. Everything else is fine.

What a host! We have been welcomed by Berge very nicely. Everything was well prepared in advance with some refreshments, fruits to welcome us. Berge is doing everything to let you relax and enjoy his cozy place. Nothing to say besides excellent! I do recommend the place.

It was a great stay for our Oslo visit. Holmenkollen is a beautiful neighborhood to have walks and to view the city from highground.
