Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Indian Lake

The Yay Frame lived right up to its name. My only regret was not being able to there sooner to spend more time in this oasis. From the hot tub, to the hooting owls, from the sauna to the arcade room with its arsenal of amazing books and games, this is a place I will rebook and consider every time I’m in the area. I would love to experience this home in the winter under a blanket of snow and after a day on the slopes. Shane is an excellent host. I left an item behind and he went above and beyond to make sure I could easily pick it up on my way back thru town.

I'm always happy when a place looks like the pictures, but this apartment was even better. It was more spacious than it looked in the pictures, and everything was perfect - spotlessly clean and ready for us to move in for our short 2-night stay. We arrived earlier than check in and were able to get in early, which was SO nice - we were on bikes and it was raining. It's always nice to "land" at the end of a long day on the bike, so getting in early was really appreciated. The apartment also has lots of nice touches that clearly have guests in mind - hooks in the bathroom, living room and bedroom for coats and towels, etc., detergent to do laundry, a table to play games (nice on a rainy day!), televisions in both the living room and bedroom, great dishes and silverware, lamps with plug openings for all our charging needs. It's hard to overstate the case - this apartment was super!

We will definitely be coming back next year for the art festival and would love to stay there as we did this year very convenient location, super clean and really well stocked attention to detail

We loved staying at Porcupine cabin and look forward to renting again in the future. The host was so nice and communicative during our stay - she even left snowshoes for us to use! We will be inquiring about the attached house to stay with our whole family, but the little cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway from the busyness of life. The cabin had everything we needed and was exactly as described. It was so cozy and we even had snow while we were there, which was exciting for us since the area we come from didn’t really have snow this year. This was our first time renting an Airbnb and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. ☺️

We were in an upper unit, and it was clean, and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We stayed Memorial Day weekend and the weather was rainy so we were not able to utilize the back patio or side deck. There were games to play. Wifi worked well. We also had free access to Amazon Prime and other Apps on the Roku. It was about a 25 min drive to Lake George, the Adirondack Museum is about an hour drive, and planned for our rainy day trip. The beds were comfortable. The first night the bottom unit, had a beeping noise from a fire alarm, and we could hear it in the main areas. The rooms were quiet, and except for the occasional car driving by. There are white noise machines in each room, and we are used to sleeping with a fan, and fans for each room. We slept well and rested. The boat area is around the corner and there are directions to get there. The dock was not set up yet, if it had been dry you could have set up a fire.

Great place with beautiful surroundings! Very close to the lake and town (which had some very good restaurants). The house was perfect for us and the bed was very, very comfortable! Location was also within an hour of some great places in the Adirondacks. Host was very responsive to any issues/questions we had, and while they are close, they left us to do our own thing. Would definitely stay again if I have the chance!

We loved our stay at Reinaldo’s place! The location was so serene and just perfect for a little getaway from downstate. They keep it very clean and in order and are responsive hosts! Our favorite moments were taking the kayaks out onto the lake, barbecuing dinner, and sitting by the campfire at night. Truly lovely.

Jared’s place was perfect for our short weekend getaway on the motorcycles. We came in a little early and it was raining and he allowed us to check in early which was great. The house itself was just as described and spotless! Overall had a great experience and will definitely be staying there if we come back to the area!

We have been coming to Lake Placid for 15 years and this was by far the best house we’ve ever stayed in. Jonathan has thought of everything. There was no amenity we thought was missing. The house was immaculate. The property is beautiful and spacious; we had no issue accommodating 7 adults. Next time we come back to Lake Placid we will definitely be reserving this house again.

Host response time was exceptional, Directions and local tips excellent. The house was CLEAN. We stayed in winter surrounded by over three feet of snow so there wasn’t too much opportunity to adventure out on the property, but the views from within the warmth of the house were beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked, everything placed thoughtfully and convenient. Kids loved the game room. We brought a Roku and enjoyed family movies while wood burning stove toasted the rooms. Bedrooms large and comfortable. The drive was plowed and easily managed despite all the snow. Only 17 minutes from Gore Mountain, we felt happily lost in the deep Adirondacks. We loved our stay at Brett’s! It was a cozy home with lush greenery outside and was the perfect getaway. We loved the large kitchen & dining table, hot tub, and location about 40min away from Lake George. Brett was super responsive and a great host! Would definitely stay here again!

My family had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect. The host was incredibly responsive and made check-in a breeze. All the details and amenities was so thought out made our stay so easy and convenient . This home was perfect for our group, we had a great time in the backyard and outdoor areas and everything inside was nice too! Definitely would recommend staying here any time you're in the area!

We came up here for a friend's wedding. the location was perfect only 5 minutes away from where we had to go. your in the woods but not too far from town if you need to make a quick run to Tops Markets. Jolanda was very responsive, but we alsp didn't need anything or had any issues. only wish we were not too busy with the wedding and could enjoy the house and property more.

What a lovely condo in a beautiful setting and impeccably maintained. Check in was easy. We really appreciated the cozy atmosphere with fireplaces and heated garage after 8 hours on the road in snow! The set up was perfect for us with my daughter, her husband and my two grandsons downstairs in their own space and my granddaughter and me upstairs. The beds were comfy and the kitchen very well appointed. The Adirondack Olympic decor and furniture is perfect. We especially liked the unique, bear featured stair runners. Robin and Bob are gracious hosts providing great details and suggestions for activities. We all wished our vacation could have been longer! Don’t hesitate to book, you will love it.

Wonderful place to stay for a trip to lake placid. Conveniently located to tons of restaurants. Hosts were very communicative.

An absolute dream! This experience was top notch from the moment I clicked on the listing. Responsive host, clear directions, timely reminders and updates...the list goes on and on. And the space itself was even better than the pictures. The location was quiet and walking distance to the lake. The home was spacious and well laid out...and spotless clean from top to bottom. Every room was perfectly appointed with all the little, but important, things that you need to feel at home. My family and I are already talking about another trip!

The place is clean, quiet and peaceful. Lots of towels, there are basic toiletries like soap, shampoo and conditioner were provided. We enjoyed watching the birds in the morning. I will recommend this place to friends. Hopefully we can go back during the summer to experience the lake.

What a gem! We honestly could not have been happier. The condo was spacious, clean, had tons of supplies and amenities (Air fryer, crock pot, all the pots and pans, even spices and coffee supplies), and was comfortably decorated. The living room was so comfortable and cozy after a day of skiing. Every room has it's own thermostat so nobody was too hot or too cold. The neighborhood is adorable and seemed friendly and mostly condos. Lisa G's, which is the best place to eat and hang out in town, is a 3 minute walk away, while town is a little further but still very much walkable or a quick drive. We have stayed in several outdated and tiny places in Lake Placid; this one was neither of those things! We will definitely be back!
