"Kaiwa no Sato" Our house is an indigo house built in the first year of culture (1804) during the ornate era of "indigo". The main house and bed (the barn that sleeps the indigo) have been demolished, but they have preserved the historic guest room and garden to be used as a farmhouse homestay. Once upon a time, "indigo" grew up in the fertile land of the lower Yoshino River in Tokushima Prefecture, bringing a lot of wealth to Tokushima Prefecture (Awa clan). It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area.Also I provide two bikes at the house.
