This quaint village house is located high up in the pretty hillside village of Rodes. Rodes rests in the Languedoc Roussillon/Pyrenees-Orientales region of France where Mount Canigou dominates the skyline. A 30 minute drive takes you to Perpignan and the stunning Mediterranean coast. The house has breath taking views of Mount Canigou from the rooftop terrace and can comfortably sleep up to 4 persons. It has a private garage, free WIFI and two bikes available for guests to use. On the ground floor is the walk through garage and a utility area with a washing machine. The two bedrooms are on the first floor. The 2nd floor offers open plan living with a fully equipped kitchen and an area for relaxing and eating. From here you access the sunny outdoor terrace and the mezzanine bathroom. The house and the area are perfect for a relaxing get away from it all holiday. Nearby is a village shop and easy access to the main road between Perpignan and Andorra. The village of Vinca is within walking distance and you can swim, relax and sunbathe on the shores of the crystal clear lake. Maison Mimosa is located in an exceptionally picturesque area ideal for walking and mountain biking as well as a visit to the world reknowned hot springs at Thomas Les Bains. During the winter season, the nearest slopes are just a 45 minute drive away. The 50 euros rate per night is negotiable dependent on number of guests, number if nights booked and the season. Beautiful villa with all the essentials for a great stay. High quality Jacuzzi and sauna. Beautiful pool. Billiards, ping pong table and barbecue. The house is prettier than in the photos. The view from the terrace is superb. Esther welcomed us very warmly and explained everything there was to know to enjoy the amenities of the house. We arrive, we put down our suitcases and we enjoy. The village center, a 2-minute walk away, is beautiful. Bars, restaurants, grocery store. You can find everything on site. We also tried the Futogolf experience nearby. Fun for football fans😅. We'll definitely come back to enjoy Esther's beautiful family home.

As soon as we arrived we knew we would be fine at Kate and Joel's. Our hosts are welcoming and charming, full of small touches. The outside is as beautiful as in the photos: full of little corners to settle in. The interior is even more beautiful, it has everything you need to have a good vacation. The beds are very comfortable. The location is nice, 12 minutes from the sea and at the foot of the mountains. In short, we'll be back!

One of the best Airbnb we stayed in - from children to adults we were all sad to leave this little paradise isolated in the mountains. Gorgeous appartement, very well renovated with taste and amazing appealing functions (we enjoyed very much the Finnish bath and cheminée). Imogen turned the gîte in a very cosy and luxurious place that we couldn’t wish more from. The nature surrounding is splendid and we loved visiting the animals from the farm and hiking near by. Imogen was a caring and attentive host. We hope to be back soon ♥️
