Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Ilanz/Glion

We were staying there to attend the WEF in Davos and selected because of proximity and price, however did not plan for the challenging journey to get to the property or back out of the area due to snowy/icy conditions and an ill-equipped rental car. However the interaction with Marlis was great, super friendly and helpful and the house itself and surroundings were lovely and would be great stay with better planning or in the summer.

What a wonderful and peaceful experience it was to stay at Emanuel’s greenhouse. I only wish we had booked a longer stay. His offer (and accepted) to pick organic strawberries from inside the greenhouse was much appreciated.

The house was huge and had everything we needed. A nice touch was the rice cooker which is hard to come by. Will definitely visit again if I’m in the area. This is the most value for money house that we rented in Switzerland. Giuseppe was always responsive and this is important especially if guests are already in the house and needed help.

Our stay at Janine‘s home was beyond anything we could have imagined. The setting is heavenly. We hardly wanted to leave the house. The surrounding area is absolutely amazing for hiking, which was the purpose of our trip. Janine greeted us when we arrived and spoke with us in perfect English, which was very helpful. Janine was helpful all throughout our stay giving us hiking recommendations as well as local eateries! The pictures on the website absolutely do not do the home justice. Every single person we met in the area was beyond kind and friendly.

If you want to escape from everyday life and just want to enjoy the mountain landscape, just perfect. The directions and check-in procedure were super good and we found the Hüttli right away. It was super clean and there was everything you needed on site. Even an outlet to charge your gadgets (if you want. We wanted to have peace). Really great and we are planning a repeat. Thank you very much for the great experience.

We had a wonderful stay in the very well-equipped house. Above all, the sauna and cooling pool were special.

It was fantastically beautiful, quiet and relaxing. The cottage was decorated and furnished with a lot of love down to the smallest detail. It has a great view and invites you to linger. The uncomplicated contact with Silvia was also very pleasant. Hopefully we can be guests again :)

Donatella and Ezio were the sweetest, most amazing hosts. Very helpful with recommendations, super responsive, the place was very clean, the surroundings amazing, peaceful, quiet, great views and walks available straight from the house. If we will come back in the area we will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our vacation in the accommodation very much. The hikes are all super accessible by car and you can walk to the lake wonderfully with the dog. Here it is recommended to know where the dog beach is, as the bathing meadow has strict dog bed prohibition. The apartment was very pleasantly cold despite the high temperatures outside. The garden is very well maintained and invites you to the aperitif outside, as it is also fenced. We would leave again, highly recommended

Very close to the train station and the cogswheel train to Pilatus was right down the road. Less than a 10 minute walk! Very convenient for our short stay here. Thanks again!

Three nights at Heidi's, great. At the same time, we are in the farm with a family environment, and at the same time in complete independence and tranquility. Heidi is a person who likes to please, she is very attentive to her guests, with delicate attentions, while being very discreet. Her good mood is infectious. Regarding the accommodation, the bedding is comfortable, the kitchen functional, all the windows are equipped with mosquito nets. The place has a splendid view of the lake and is close to Rigi, Lucerne...

The apartment is located just above Churwalden. It has a beautiful garden seating area with seating and a nice barbecue area. Furthermore, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains. We will be happy to come back!

Dieter and Sylvia’s apartment is incredible, more beautiful than pictured, on an aquamarine lake with views of snowcapped peaks, farmhouse-dotted mountains, and windsurfers whipping around like dragon flies. We would have happily sat on the patio all day. Or better yet, on the stone steps with our feet in the lake! When time came to go indoors, each room was tasteful and comfortable, with big windows and phenomenal views. The kitchen is well designed, equipped with everything you need. And the apartment was spotlessly clean. There is a ton to do in the area and the town of Flüelen is relaxed and easy. We hope to come back to experience it in winter! Dieter and Sylvia were very generous with their attention, making sure our needs were met in the apartment and pointing us in the direction of special activities outside. Their kindness and hospitality made a big impression on us. This is a magical place. Hands down, our best AirBnB ever.

Believe the hype! Perfect place to stay for our family of 5 (5 yr old, 3 yr old, 1 yr old). Sabine went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable after our travel from the States, going as far as to grabbing us a few groceries so we wouldn’t have to go out the night we arrived. Sabine’s place was clean and had all the things we needed including a crib, high chair, changing table and toys for the kids. The location was perfect and a close walk to the bus stop and the port. We were only a quick boat ride away from Lucerne and other major towns. Also a block or two away are a small grocery store, butcher, and great bakery. Book Sabine’s place, you won’t regret it.

The house is located in a super location where there is no noise and no neighbors nearby. We spent 4 days in this house in the middle of April, the weather was fine, we served the table outside, walked a lot, bathed in a warm bathroom that stands in the courtyard. It snowed on the last day and it was beautiful too. Many thanks to the hosts who were always in touch and always promptly answered questions. I also want to note that the house is very functional and it is convenient that you can buy essential products on the spot.

Wow! It was just fantastic - two days just to unwind... We enjoyed the trip very much and felt very comfortable. We didn't miss anything. will be happy to come back.

The Baita dell'Est is much more than just a place to stay – it is a place full of tranquility, magic and loving details. The cabin is fantastically located, stylishly furnished and offers a real experience with the hot tub and the view. We came for the 5th anniversary – and got much more than just a nice place to stay. We've collected memories that will last. What made this stay so special was Nicola. His cordiality, reliability and tips complemented everything perfectly. You can tell right away: there's a real heart in it. We can especially recommend a breakfast in the Pasticceria Mastai in Chiavenna - heavenly! The Alphüttli offered exactly what we were looking for. Peace, nature and just time to be! The neighbor Gregor is also very helpful and has three great dogs. Alex gave us great instructions and was always easily accessible for questions. We will be happy to come back!

****Exceeded our expectations****h the view are absolutely amazing . Ralf was very responsive and very welcoming. Wish we could have spent more time but needed to move on with our travel plans. Would definitely recommend, loved the personal touch of the very cosy chalet.

Visiting from the U.S., this place was a gem that placed my family of four right in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Surrounded by alpine pastures, slightly above the town of Davos this place combines quiet luxury and comfort with convenience. The place is kept with lots of love and care, and I know my young kids made lifelong memories here. The host is extremely attentive and helped with many recommendations throughout our stay. Thank you!
