Vacation rentals with a patio in Ilala

I found the place last minute and I think I made the right choice given the fact that it was my first time in Dar es Salaam. Evy was very responsive & quick to give me local recommendations.

Simple, cozy stay away from downtown Dar. Friendly hosts and welcoming environment. Apartment is clean and has AC, would recommend.

The location is perfect, very close to town but also not far from Masaki area. Ocean view everyday is just good for health haha, You do need to pay for extra used electricity yourself. The hosts are extremely responsive, understanding and helpful. Cleaning service is provided. Shop for basics like water, inside residence compound. It was a very peaceful place to stay, and I would come back to this place every time in Dar however, I moved to another flat from the same hosts in the same compound and for me it is even better.

The location was perfect—close to everything I needed, including shops, restaurants, and transport. The place was clean, comfortable, and just as described. Zanna’s was an absolutely amazing place. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was better than the pictures. All amenities were there and well maintained. The house truly feels like home. Zanna is super responsive and helpful. We absolutely loved dealing with her and we certainly would go back if we are back in Dar. 10/10 would recommend. Special mention - Dennis who was our chef for the period we stayed at Zanna’s. His food was fantastic and absolutely delicious. Plus we loved interacting with him and getting recommendations of where to go from him.

A perfect place for a family vacation, lots to do easy access to everywhere. Tha place looks better than in the photos had a great stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Victor. The house was exactly as we expected. Lovely comfortable beds. Victor is a great host. We had a long journey before our stay and he cooked us a delicious chicken pasta meal for our arrival. We had very few issues during our stay but when we did have a problem Victor responded almost straight away. My main compliment is that Victor really cares about his property and his guests. Genuinely really nice guy and we couldn’t recommend him and his property any higher than to say that if and when we are in Dar again, Victor will be our first call for accommodation. Best air bnb experience I’ve had. Thanks very much

We had a great time in Charlotte’s place. The house is located in the middle of the nature with beautiful garden and views from the rooftop. The nearby beaches are breathtaking. Charlotte was a great host and provided lots of useful tips and advice.

Eileen's place is very spacious and in a good accessible location. We could buy food easily and visited the beaches nearby. Navo is very friendly and we asked her to cook for three nights, which she did beautifully. Thanks Eileen, we had a lot of fun.

Stunning property, very modern and chic. Check in was a breeze as there were staff on property 24/7 ready to accommodate your needs. The day housekeeper- Esther was really lovely and welcoming. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. I would highly recommend.

Wow! This is what this totally hidden gem of a place! We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home literally localated on the beach. Super friendly staff that will always try and accommodate your requests. Winny and Joseph and the masai security took great care of us. The private gardens are enormous with plenty of seating areas to enjoy the sea breeze. Our host Sabrina was such a kind and thoughtful host, she even took time out to come visit us. She recommended great places to order food from and even arranged a local massage therapist to come visit. We would 100% recommend this beautiful hidden home to anyone wanting the luxury of a beach front getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at this flat! It truly has everything you need, from a TV to a well-equipped kitchen. The space is cozy, comfortable, and very clean. The location is fantastic, with a supermarket conveniently right in front of the flat. It’s also very quiet, which made for a relaxing experience. A small note: only one bedroom has air conditioning, while the other has a ceiling fan. Thank you for hosting us! We’ll definitely be coming back.
