Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Ilala

I recently stayed at MetroLuxe place for a night and had a great experience. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was convenient. Mr Shaaran was very responsive and accommodating, making check-in/out seamless. I’d happily recommend this place to others and would stay here again if I’m back in the area!

I really enjoyed my stay at Tumi’s place. It was clean, well equipped with great amenities, and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is also perfect and very accessible to most key areas. Tumi was super helpful and communicated clearly throughout. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The place is great for anyone who needs an accommodation prior to their flight from DAR airport. The host helped to arrange taxi to/from the place which was very useful. They also helped us to get a takeaway which was very kind of them. The only issues we had is that there was no hot water on the premises, one bedroom didn’t have a door and there was a bit of noise in the evening from Masais.

Super clean spacious apartment with good facilities in a prime location. Most of all, the host and her team showed us the most wonderful hospitality and support. Truly went above and beyond, and that's what made the stay so memorable. Now the first pick when I'm in Dar Es Salaam.

We stayed well, however, we didn't see the service fee of Kshs. 5000, applied during our stay as it was indicated in the payment receipt. We had problems in using the TV provided and we requested for the care taker ( Wilson) but never responded, we were on our own. There was no drinking water, even to welcome Visitors first.

Kate’s apartment is something special. The building is full of history, her space is so beautifully curated and the views of the city are epic. Kate is warm and communicative and more than accommodating. My stay offered a beautiful entry into Dar.

We had an amazing stay at Jay's bnb. Easily accessible, safe and clean environment. We felt right at home. We will definitely be booking his place whenever we visit Dar. It's the best Airbnb I have been to so far. We greatful to the host for being proactive and helpful.

We had a very nice time at Privaty's flat. The place is newly renovated and matches the description. In addition to that, the communication with both Privaty and his employees was perfect, and we even extended our stay by one night. I can highly recommend the apartment to all travellers!

I fully enjoyed staying at this apartment. It's a nice flat that is part of a local neighbourhood in Upanga, and everyone was friendly: from the hosts, to the neighbours, to the folks running the nearby shops. Shopping is easily available, and connectivity to the city centre, Msasani, Kariakoo, or Kinondoni is easy. The flat itself is as advertised: I found it comfortable and convenient, and it felt like my home for a month. I could have happily stayed much longer! I highly recommend this place as an excellent base, especially if you are already familiar with Dar es Salaam. The hosts were very responsive, flexible, and accommodating. Overall this was a great experience.

We had a wonderful stay at this flat! It truly has everything you need, from a TV to a well-equipped kitchen. The space is cozy, comfortable, and very clean. The location is fantastic, with a supermarket conveniently right in front of the flat. It’s also very quiet, which made for a relaxing experience. A small note: only one bedroom has air conditioning, while the other has a ceiling fan. Thank you for hosting us! We’ll definitely be coming back.
