We renovated a two-story storehouse built in the Edo period and made it into a guest house. Although it is not spacious, a kitchen with an IH cooking heater is installed on the first floor, while maintaining the atmosphere of a storehouse with its earthen walls and thick beams. The first and second floors are equipped with air conditioning for a comfortable stay. You can experience the sound insulation, summer coolness, and winter warmth unique to a storehouse. If you like, you can enjoy coffee made with freshly ground beans. Sister-gawa Onsen and Ibuki Yakuza-Yu are about 15 minutes away by car. We can provide you with a ticket for Sankawa Onsen (cheaper than the regular price). Please contact us about pick-up and drop-off. There are many tourist spots unique to Nagahama, which has often been the stage of history. Hikone Castle, a National Treasure, Toyotomi Hideyoshi's Nagahama Castle, the birthplace of Ishida Mitsunari, one of Japan's leading mountain castles, Otaki, the site of the battle, and others. It is also less than 20 minutes by car to the Sekigahara Battlefield. In addition to the area around Lake Biwa, there are plenty of non-historical attractions such as Japan's oldest railway station building, Nagahama Railway Square, the Yanmar Museum where children can play, and Kurobane Square. You can also enjoy gourmet food such as Omi beef, duck cuisine, grilled mackerel somen, noodles, salad bread, duck, and small ayu.

[What I want to tell you in advance] Hello, this is your host, Tsukamoto. Sakura-sho is a place for guests who want to spend their holidays quietly and comfortably. We may decline guests who want to make noise, such as parties. Only guests who can follow the manners and rules are welcome. [Facility Description] The entire building is for rent, and the price is the same for up to 5 people. (For 6 or more people, you don't need to include preschool children who don't need extra futons and towels, for 1,850 yen per person) There is no WiFi. The floor plan is 3LDK, and you can enjoy BBQ outdoors. (You will need to bring BBQ ingredients, charcoal, and equipment such as a stove) There is a swing on the wooden deck. There is a hammock in the living room. And from the windows, you can see the great nature of Ikeda-cho from anywhere, and hear the babbling of the river and the chirping of birds. It is also convenient as a stopover point to the Dinosaur Museum and Eihei-ji Temple. [River Swimming] The Asaba River flows behind Sakura-sho, and in the summer, it is a hidden playground where local children come to play in the river. You can walk there. Onsen There is a hot spring facility called Kanjo that is a 5-minute drive away. There is also a sauna, and it is a place of relaxation for locals and tourists alike.

It also provides convenient access to Katsuyama, a ski resort with one of the largest slopes in Western Japan. This area, which receives snow unique to the Japan Sea side due to the cold, dry northwest wind, boasts a blessed snow quality and abundant snowfall. In addition, at Ski Jam Katsurayama, you can enjoy Dinosaur Land and Katsurayama Nature School in the green season. There is also a barbecue facility at the ski resort, Katsurayama. Children from 4 to 12 years old will be charged the child rate. Owners roast coffee beans in an adjacent roasting shop.Enjoy a little rich breakfast with delicious coffee. You can use one Japanese-style flat house of Okumino surrounded by trees, one building. It fits to be the family up to 4~5 people,feel easy and spend. 4~12year-old child will be the price by a child fare. An owner roasts coffee beans at a next roast atelier. Opened in December 2024 [hatto] is an inn limited to two groups per day that has been renovated from a 50-year-old building. 9 mins walk from Fukui station, It is located at the entrance to the Hamamachi area adjacent to the downtown area. The Hamamachi area still retains the atmosphere that was once bustling as Chayamachi. The location with a view of Mt. Ashiba, facing the Ashikawa River, is located in the city, but you can feel the nature. I can have a relaxing time. I usually spend time in Fukui. Haruya Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

It is a log house in Hakusan city .you can use outside bath and inside bath are use natural hot spring. About this area, Recently it has been certified as a UNESCO Global Geopark.There are national parks, ski resorts, hot spring Places ,organic restaurants and cafes nearby. It is also about 30 minutes to Kanazawa, and has good access to the World Heritage Site and Shirakawa-go. I have Eabikes, , so even if you don't have a car, you can enjoy this area. Pleaee have a relaxing time in here !
