Erica was such a wonderful host! We felt as if a friend was taking care of us. She was super responsive and checked in on us during our stay, accommodated us with supplies for activities, breakfast & we purchased an add on pizza basket which was so awesome and tasty!!! Can’t say enough good things. This place is like a slice of heaven and all the detailed touches that Erica made was everything, from the record player, to music choices, games and books. We felt like we were in our own little romance film! :) lol. Erica is great. The place is beautiful. Definitely coming back!

My experience was really good. I had good reception so I didn’t need to access the WiFi on my phone. The home was really clean and cozy. Nicole was one of the best hosts Ive had experience. She did not provided a whole list of rules compared to other host. She’s the best! The neighborhood is really quiet and just know you are surrounded by neighbors and over look two homes on the balcony. Not an issue but i wanted to notify on that. The entrance is short but steep. So, i don’t suggest bringing a sedan or a low car. Aside from that the home is spacious and I would recommend.

A Perfect Stay! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the seamless check-in process and Maria’s warm hospitality. The space was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal—peaceful yet conveniently close to local attractions like Jenkins lake. I especially appreciated the private location of the house, its views, and all the games there. Communication with Maria was prompt and helpful throughout my stay. She went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. I can’t wait to return!

Absolute perfection! A quaint country cottage on shared acreage but you are welcome to enjoy/use the main house and grounds. Quiet, charming, nicely kept up with a very much appreciated gift basket, morning coffee and mini fridge in room. Loved the fire stove to keep the night chill out and add a romantic ambience. Will definitely return if ever in need of a stay in the area - can't recommend enough!

First of all, I can’t say enough about the host. She is the best I have ever dealt with. Was running low on a few things and she responded and brought them immediately. The cabin itself is so cozy and homey. We we are from this area but have moved away and came back for a wedding. Really enjoyed staying there in the beauty of the trees and we even got a little thunderstorm. Love all the wildlife that comes around. A perfect place to stay iPollock Pines.

Patrick's cabin was absolutely perfect for our family of four (2 kids, 2 adults) for our annual Tahoe summer vacation. The cabin is gorgeous, impeccably clean and outfitted with everything you could possibly need (well appointed kitchen, bathroom amenities, etc.). The location on the West Shore is the perfect launch point for summer adventuring (hikes, biking, lake access, etc.) and the neighborhood is very quiet/peaceful. We appreciated the thorough instructions/videos provided and Patrick's prompt responses to questions, which made for a smooth stay. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Penny’s place is truly a hidden gem—a peaceful escape from reality. My husband and I both work, go to school, and juggle raising kids, so we were long overdue for a quiet getaway to reconnect. Sanctuary in the Pines was exactly what we needed. It’s calm, quiet, and surrounded by nature—perfect for slowing down and just enjoying each other’s company. You really can't describe the experience fully in words... you just have to go and feel it for yourself. Penny is hands down the best host we’ve ever had. She’s incredibly sweet and thoughtful, and always responds quickly if you need anything. Her warmth made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. If you're looking for a place to relax, recharge, and reconnect, this is it. One tip: don’t make the same mistake we did by arriving late at night—come during the day so you can enjoy the gorgeous drive in and take in the views. A little gem - this place felt very updated, modern and peaceful. Really appreciated the thoughtfulness of the host who provided well thought-out detailed instructions ahead of my trip. Lots of towels, toiletry, nice coffee maker, large comfy bed. Even though the area has lots of housing, felt very private and close to nature thanks to beautiful trees around and large deck. Hope to be back one day!
