Excellent family stay in this large house well suited to the needs of young and old. Good welcome from owner. Beautiful view of the lake. A beautiful bike ride around the lake was well appreciated.

This home in Portocolom is amazing. The location right on the water is a huge plus to not only be able to jump in and swim, kayak, os SUP whenever you want, but it faces west so the sunsets on a chaise with a glass of Spanish wine were a highlight of our trip. There were lots of things for 2 preteen boys to occupy themselves with including ping pong, a piano, guitars, toys and even a puppet stage they surprisingly got a kick out of. The local beach is leas than a 5 minute walk, wonderful food and service at both restaurants there and you can reserve sun beds. Maria and her family were super friendly, her son met us for check in and gave us a walkthrough of the home. She was very responsive over what’s app and gave us a ton of recommendations, even told of us the local Santanyi market which we ended up gong to twice because my wife loved it so much. Overall one of the best airbnbs we’ve rented and we would highly recommend it for a family of 4 to 6.

Fab place. We loved the use of the kayaks, and the pool was great. Very comfy beds. Kitchen was very well equipped. Only a 6 mins drive to a hypermarket and very quiet roads . Tony was very helpful and friendly. We would come again. Thoroughly recommend.

Diogo was an exemplary host: always available, attentive and genuinely concerned about our well-being. Your kindness made the experience even more special. The space is simply stunning, perfect for resting the mind and recharging the soul. And as if the surrounding nature and tranquility of the place were not enough, we had charming visitors: adorable kittens that appeared unexpectedly and immediately won our hearts. They were a sweet and caring asset, which gave even more life to our stay. We recommend it with our eyes closed - and with our hearts full.

We rented this cottage for 2 nights for a wedding celebrated in the cellars of Rabastens. It was 10 minutes away, very convenient. Very nice cottage tastefully decorated. We liked it a lot, very clean and functional, nothing was missing. We were 5 adults and we all found our little place, the space was sufficient. A beautiful setting in a quiet area. I recommend it 100% value for money. It was Pierre who greeted us on arrival, someone very nice and responsive.

We had a very nice stay with partner and baby of 15 months. Everything was present in the cottage and we quickly felt at home! The garden with the swimming pool is a plus. Communication with Abe went very smoothly . We received the necessary information with a personal touch. A car is a requirement if you want to visit something and otherwise…highly recommended! We had a lovely stay at Pascale's place. The accommodation was exactly as described and the welcome was very warm. The accommodation is tastefully decorated and the environment is very quiet. The area is beautiful and offers great potential for visits. At Pascale's we enjoyed the very nice Nordic bath. And our host always had charming touches!

holiday experience was great from start to finish very helpful hosts and set in a very scenic area which was close to the major attractions in the area whether you wanted to explore grottos or chateaus / castles or scenic towns all were within easy reach. welcomed and shown around the property and shown and explained all we needed to know , the use of bikes - bike path right next to property close to villages of les Eyzies and le Bugue 2 person kayak right next to river Vezere - very relaxing paddle on the river not to be missed out. pool area was great and heated with lovely gardens and lots of areas to sit with your morning coffee badminton net and rackets supplied your own barbecue area and every utensil for barbecue or kitchen was supplied first experience with air bnb and the hosts went above and beyond what we expected very pleased many thanks for having us David & Caroline

Characterful traditional house and beautiful swimming pool. Outdoor BBQ facility was wonderful. Folding bikes were good, and the house is close to a great cycle track. Alfonso was most helpful and always responsive when we had a query.

We loved our stay so much that we didn’t use our car to go anywhere. We enjoyed the beautiful garden, the river and walking to the village. We so enjoyed the peace and quiet and the sound of the river and we wish we could have stayed for longer. Thank you Júlio and Patricia for being such thoughtful and welcoming hosts.

​We had a 5-day stay at this rustic cottage in nature. If you're looking for a retreat surrounded by birdsong and greenery, this is the perfect spot. It truly feels like an escape into nature. That said, a car is needed, as the nearest town is a drive away and the last approx. 2 km of road is not smooth. The access to the cottage from the road might not be suitable for everyone—there are steep, winding stairs & uneven surfaces, so it’s something to consider for guests with limited mobility. Jens & Sarah were ​very good hosts—responsive, thoughtful, and helpful throughout our stay. The Wi-Fi was excellent, making it a great option for remote workers, though the lighting indoors is ​ somewhat dim, so plan accordingly if you need a well-lit space to work. Being immersed in nature also means you may encounter insects or mosquitoes, so come prepared—but that’s part of the experience in such a beautifully natural setting. All in all, a peaceful and authentic getaway in nature.

The house had incredible views, we loved the area, there are plenty of activities to do around or just stay in the house enjoying the company and pool. Ivan is great, super friendly, helpful and flexible. We'll repeat!!

Hard not to fall in love with this place. Everything one could dream of. It’s a very relaxed environment with two very cool humans, whom which have built a little town of their own if you don’t say! We were lucky enough to have a little tour of the place, hear about how it all started. Went horseback riding with Chris which was incredo. Swam in the pond, sat in the sauna but mostly just enjoyed the view. And hung out with the doggos. Thank you. Will definitely come again when I return to Portugal.

We are very very thankful to Helena and Luis. They are very sweet, helpful and amazingly kind. We felt right at home in this absolute stunning place. It is a bit difficult to find, but Helena was a great help. We LOVED it and enjoyed it to the max! We will be back for sure!

The stay at Luis's cabin was fantastic! A spectacular natural setting in which it is located and which the host has created within the estate, with an artificial river next to the cabin, a lot of trees of different species, and abundant vegetation. It makes you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. In addition, you have a very special experience with a night bonfire (which he himself lights), to make a "route" through the marsh in Kayak (he helps you from the farm itself, even with children, as in our case), or to go to an impressive cove from the cabin itself, along a path with a lot of charm, in just 10 minutes on foot. You have different spaces to rest, eat, play, sunbathe, cook, etc., and it includes some more surprises... The cabin has everything you really need, both in toiletries and kitchen products. A stay unlike any other, very complete and full of activities and surprises.

A very good welcome from the owners, clean accommodation, is very well-equipped, everything that was offered on the listing was present. Recommended.

The house is equipped with the essentials and is located in a quiet neighborhood. The view from the house of the river and the dunes is just beautiful. It should be noted that the bedroom has no external blinds and you have to be a little creative if you don't want to get up with the crowing of the rooster ;-) Although we did not meet Telma in person, communication with her was very friendly and uncomplicated and check-in and check-out worked smoothly.

Nice cottage in nature at a good distance from the host's main residence. Not a luxury cottage but really basic. Includes everything you need. Wonderfully quiet. Private driveway and entrance. Lots of privacy. Distance to sea 20 minutes. The swimming pool in the garden was lovely. Hostess was very helpful but not meddling. We had a great time and would love to come back again!

We chose this place for a little escape by the end of our busy season and to celebrate a birthday. We wanted a hut, peace and nature. We got it here. The hut served our purposes for the short stay with all the amenities you need, including heating. The views were breathtaking and the location is out of this world. During the day (a week day) one could only hear birds and the nighttime is one of the most peaceful you can get. Of the sky is clear, it's perfect to watch shooting stars. Would be back at anytime for a longer term.
