Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Iberian Peninsula

First things first, yes, there should have been more disclosure about the 6 - 8 minuet drive on the dirt road/goat path, but as has been said in several previous reviews, the drive is more than worth the beauty and solitude that you'll find once there. The home is every bit as beautiful as the pictures, and there is no way to convey how wonderful the view down to the town of Soller is. It is perfectly equipped for two people to stay very comfortably, with a kitchen that is thoughtfully stocked with everything you'll need to prepare meals. Carolina provided us with a list of provisions for our arrival from an incredible local market. Carolina's place is a little slice of heaven and I feel privileged to have been able to spend a few days there. I'd recommend it unconditionally, and we'll be back just a soon as we can.

We cannot say enough about how enjoyable, peaceful, and satisfying our stay was in Fontelo at Marina’s house! The house feels spacious and open, with everything you need to be right at home. The views are incredible and the pool and outdoor spaces are functional and enjoyable. I wish I could go back and have another cup of coffee outside, watching the sun rise over the vineyard hills. A 15-minute drive to the Douro River makes tasting the local wines and Port very accessible — just make sure to check the route before following your GPS or you may end up on a dirt farm road :-) Marina is friendly and responsive, always willing to help with questions or suggestions for where to shop and eat. We are already looking forward to our return!

Beautiful villa, even more beautiful than in the pictures!! Peaceful and private place. Great for a family vacation, our children really enjoyed it. Great host, professional, friendly, very responsive. I recommend it 1000%

It’s hard to write a raving review about a place we would like to keep to ourselves. The thing we loved the most about it is we didn’t feel like guests. It’s a home away from home. And yes, it even comes with cute dog and cat. But the shower is something that will guarantee our return!

We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful home! It’s spacious, stylish, and absolutely perfect for a large group. The layout is ideal with bedrooms upstairs and downstairs feels like a dedicated hosting space, perfect for socialising, gathering, a nice big hot tub!!!! The views are truly spectacular we enjoyed barbecuing while overlooking the vineyards, which felt like something out of a dream. It’s even more stunning in real life than in the photos (which is saying a lot!). The hostess was absolutely lovely so friendly and helpful. She responded promptly to every request and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. I genuinely can’t fault this place. If I could, I’d return every weekend! It’s ideal for groups of friends, families. The house is incredibly well-suited for the Douro Valley and ticks every box. Thank you, thank you, thank you for such a wonderful stay! Would 101% recommend!

Susana was amazing and her home is so beautiful we were in awe when we walked in. She had baked us a small cake to welcome us and had a bottle of wine for us in the fridge. Susana was extremely communicative and very helpful with recommendations and any questions we had. I would definitely stay here again.

This house is nestled near the top of a hill and offer marvelous views of the bay and beach of La Herradura. The house offers great rooms and plenty of space to share. The pool and deck offer a great place to relax and enjoy the views. Victor is a great host and provided great communication and suggestions of things to explore locally.

My wife and I spent couple days at Matew and Esti’s apartment. Loved the look and feel of their place. Best bed on our 8 weeks holiday, Best location in old area of town. Loved Coffee Mafia and La Fabrica Cafe nearby. Beautiful old town easy to walk and make discoveries. We will recommend to friends.

A great spot to see all of Andorra! The view from the apartment is even more stunning than the pictures. We definitely recommend!

This is a truly unique place for a special get away. The views all round are stunning and entire complex is so different to anywhere else. We absolutely loved it and would recommend hugely to anyone.

We felt super comfortable with Magda and her family. Magda is such a warm person and we appreciated her cooking skills very much. The place is very cozy, especially the bed and has everything you need! We highly recommend to taste from Magda's marmalade... Delicious!! And then the sweet four-legged friends, we will be happy to come back!

We stayed at Peggy’s condo for 3 overnights. She was very responsive and clear with instructions about finding the condo and how to gain access. The condo was very well equipped and the upstairs rooftop views were spectacular. There are walkable restaurants for all Meals. You can walk to the walking section of Lagos. We drove as we had a rental car and are seniors. There is a local beach nearby- driveable. We used Peggy’s place as our base and went out and explored the beautiful Algarve every day. I highly recommend as the condo is exactly as described and Peggy and Rupert are fantastic hosts. The condo is also very clean and well maintained.

Had a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment. Clean, spacious and access to the garden with French doors. Location easy to reach by public transport and also to walk (30/40 min) to the city center. Highly recommendable!

Staying at Quinta dos Moinhos was truly a dream come true for us. Not only was it the perfect setting for our wedding, but the property and the views were simply unforgettable. Diogo was an exceptional host - warm, welcoming, and incredibly responsive. He even hopped on a Facetime call so we could see the property firsthand and feel more confident about our decision! Diogo is just a genuinely kind person, and from the moment we arrived he made us feel completely at ease. His hospitality and kindness were especially meaningful during such a special time in our lives. We couldn’t ask for a more special place to celebrate, and we are already looking forward to the day we can return!

Stunning location and house. So quiet and peaceful, a perfect place to relax (especially in the pool!). Within a short distance of various places to hike. Eirin was super helpful and responsive, and gave some great recommendations for local food and activities. We intend to return.

Alexis was an absolutely fantastic host. So helpful from the minute we booked giving us taxi numbers, reccomendations and details of how we could get shopping delivered for our arrival. Alexis was incredibly responsive at all times, sorting anything out required and could not have asked for a better host. The outside pool area was fantastic and a beautiful outdoor eating space. The villa interior was a little tired although well equipped with everything we needed. Can't thank Alexis enough for being such a good host.

Absolutely incredible! The terraces are so private and peaceful and the pool is just perfect. A truly amazing place and I would recommend it to anyone if you’re looking to relax and have an amazing getaway. Loads of great supermarkets and other shops nearby. There is also plenty to do around the area with Malaga, Ronda and Marbella not too far away. Michala was an incredible host - so communicative, responsive and friendly. We really can’t recommend this place enough! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

From the moment we arrived, Monica gave us the warmest welcome and made us feel right at home. The villa was spotless, spacious, and exactly like the photos—but the pool area was even more stunning in real life. It truly felt like our own private oasis! You’ll need a car to get around, but the drive to the villa and into town was easy (a largish car or 4x4 would be recommended for the dirt road up to the Villa!). Santa Gertrudis is such a gem—a charming town filled with lovely restaurants, cafes, and everything you could need. This stay exceeded all our expectations. We absolutely loved our time here and would come back in a heartbeat.

Nora's place is simply exceptional and i'd wholeheartedly recommend it. It's a stunning property that has been diligently and sympathetically renovated into a wonderful accommodation, in an idyllic setting. After attending a busy wedding weekend, we were seeking a place that could offer an opportunity to relax, in tranquil surroundings with a touch of Luxury, and this property delivered on every level. Nora is a phenomenal host, who couldn't do enough for us - her communication was fantastic and even went out of her way to offer local recommendations and things to do, even down to organising wine tours and private chefs. Small touches, such as having a super herb garden that we utilised for cooking, and Nora very kindly heated the pool early for us. Thank you very much, for an unforgettable stay Nora. I've already recommended your place to several friends and we will most definitely be back to visit in the not too distant future.

Stunning place, nice and peaceful nothing around amazing for chill out time, but only few minutes drive to local show. Monica was amazing and very responsive to everything g we needed will definitely stay there again.

This AirBnb experience was amazing! Diego made everything so easy — he went above and beyond. He met us with all of our luggage and helped both with arrival and departure. Unfortunately the car rental from sixt was unable to make it down the last part of the drive to the house (note - car rental did tell us and confirmed we had a 4 wheel drive but it ended up being bmw S drive - confirm before leaving rental place it is 4 wheel drive or will not be able to make last leg of the drive). It was a simple walk though from where we were able to park. The house was amazing and had all we needed. Views were spectacular and swimming was amazing. Again - Diego really made this trip what it was and was so helpful. Hopefully we can return soon to this beautiful location in Mallorca! Thank you!!
