Cosy cottage 2 close to Reykjavík - hot tub

The cottage is cosy and it has everything you need to make a perfect meal in the kitchen or you can use the gas grill outside the cottage. It´s close to the sea and you can see the seals play along the shore. The cottage although small is ideal for 2-4 person. There is a free WIFI and on the veranda is a private hot tub where you can soak while enjoying the view. There is no light pollution here like in Reykjavik or in towns and therefore ideal location for watching the Northern Lights.

Gunnu Hús by Meðalfellsvatn ( Our lakeside cottage nestles at the foot of Medalfell mountain and the garden leads right down to the lake. The views are spectacular, of the lake and its surrounding mountain scape; it is a place of pure tranquility. It has 3 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and sitting room. It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

Approximately 50 kilometres outside of Reykjavik, more precisely, in Hvalfjordur is a little cottage located right by the ocean shore. Amazing, secluded spot between the ocean and mountains. The cabin had everything we needed and was very homely. Host was lovely. I appreciate the fact Katrin acknowledged me when I informed her of arrival and departure which hasn't always been the case in the last couple of weeks of multiple air bnbs. Highly recommend.

Words cannot fully express what a wonderful time we had at Ragga’s cabin. The location absolutely cannot be beat. Close to Reykjavik and the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, lakeside with a sauna and hot tub overlooking an incredible view. Every morning we started our day with an espresso in the sauna and a soak in the tub, then headed out on an adventure. Also very close to the Hvammsvik hot springs which were nothing short of magical. Thank you for providing a perfect home base for a wonderful trip, Ragga and family!
