In winter, the northern lights often light up the sky, making this a magical place to stay. The hut is only accessible by car, as there is no public transport.

Many of the attractions are within 1 one-hour drive from the cottage, e.g. the Þingvellir National Park, which is on the way to Gullfoss and Geysir. Hot tub available upon request for €15 per day.
