Swig just below the cabin, with a bathing staircase and a small jetty if you come with your own boat. Diponer buoy where possible to anchor with larger boats/ sailboats. Outdoor toilet and outdoor shower and drinking water into the cabin. No road all the way up-900m on gravel path. Rental only to adults or families with children.

Welcome to beautiful Vesterøy at Hvaler! Here is our idyllic cottage with lovely views and proximity to the lake, beach and hiking areas. In walking distance from the cabin you will also find the grocery stores, it is 10 min to drive to Fredrikstad and we have a boat a stone's throw from the cabin that you can also rent. The cabin is newly renovated; has inlaid water (shower, toilet, dishwasher and washing machine) , internet and TV. Two large patio's with dining area and sofa/lounge Fire pit, grill and pizza oven.

The water from the cistern is brought into the cabin. Drinking water available in the cabin. Cinderella incineration toilet. Fire pit available. Bring your own firewood for the fireplace. Remember to bring your own beddings/towel. 10 minutes walk to bus stop where also view the bus from Oslo stops

The cabin is located in a very quiet and cozy cabin area not far away from Skjærhalden (Kirkøy, Hvaler, not far away from Fredrikstad in Østfold) There is sun from morning to evening on the property, with good stays in the sunny parts of the cabin (or shade if that is preferable). The cabin is very easy to keep. Everything is easily accessible, both for use and for cleaning. Not a partying cabin Looking for a cabin for party beyond the late nights, then this is not the cabin.

Welcome to "bua" at Hvalstrand pier facility! Bua is a cozy cabin located at Hvalers perhaps most charming marina. Here it is quiet and peaceful while getting a taste of boating Bua is adjacent to the boat docks to expect to meet people vacationing in their boats. There are on-site swimming facilities with a swimming staircase on the end of the boat dock. The surroundings consist of a lot of nice nature with forest, paths and mountains. The cabin is tastefully decorated and completely renovated recently. Sun all day, sea view, large terrace, dishwasher, washing machine, shower, free Wi-Fi, office space and TV. The plot is relatively flat and child friendly. Nice hiking opportunities on Paper, sea idyll, pristine nature and sunny rocks. 6 minutes to swimming areas. Sleeps approx. 6 people. There is a free parking space 300 meters away, but it is possible to drive 100 meters from the cabin with luggage.

The cabin is located in quiet surroundings inside the forest (we were lucky enough to see both deer and squirrels) and with a short distance to the rocks and the beach. That room nice 2 families (a total of 8 people) and we think the cabin contained what we needed to cook for everyone. Rolf was a nice host who guided us by phone to find out the first day and it was extra nice that there were nice roses on the table and that the fridge contained refreshments when we arrived.

Per Christian and family were exceptionally kind hosts. They were wonderful ambassadors of their home, and also of the area and the country! As newcomers to Norway, they helped us feel truly welcome, which we really appreciated. :) Their house is thoughtfully and beautifully designed. It's homey with a lovely selection of furniture and decor. As an added bonus, the nearby store called Tjøme Kolonial had wonderful organic and local products. I'd definitely recommend staying at Per Christian's home and enjoying the little oasis they've created.

Silje's cottage was an immediate feel-good place!We were allowed to spend a few beautiful & quiet days on Little Yellow, with Silje always answered directly & answered our questions with advice & action. Particularly missing will be like the veranda with the large garden (including hot tub)! Also the available board games made us sweeter every night:) Not far away we had everything we needed: from supermarket, to restaurants, to a great beach. The proximity to the next larger city of Fredrikstad also had its advantages! There we came across friendly people and delicious food & admired the diverse sculptures. In any weather you could do something & a rainy evening was in order, the day in Silje's cottage ended really well with a cozy fireplace & a movie night. Definitive recommendation !!

We had a great stay at the cabin! It is bright and pleasant, and was clean and tidy when we arrived. There were fun toys there that our kids played well with. Martin was nice + easy to communicate with. Got quick answers to what we were wondering about. We would gladly came back!

Cabin with simple standard on large plot in the woods on beautiful Søndre Sandøy. The cabin is as described and as in the pictures. No water in the kitchen so have to get water in the harbor for dishes and drinking water, but it worked fine to get by bike (that's also part of the charm - at least in fine weather :)). There is running water in the bathroom for hand washing and similar. There are several bikes at the cabin that we used a lot! Many nice places within cycling distance and nice hiking trails on the island.

We especially liked that you really noticed that Camilla cares about the cabin and wants you to enjoy it there. It would be nice to read about the history of the cabin and the furniture/interior. 🌞

Really great place to stay, nice and quiet on the edge of the forest, and with lots of amenities, weber grill, fire pit, jacuzzi ++. Great place to relax with kids.

Cabin with panoramic views

Great chalet in an amazing location! We were a family of 4, with two big and two small, and had a super week at Hvaler. A very well-maintained cabin with all the necessary amenities, within very short walking distance to a child-friendly beach. A cozy little walk from the car to the cabin. Quiet and peaceful with lovely panoramic view overlooking the sea. The host has been great to communicate with and has provided great instructions and tips for the stay. We would gladly came back!

Cozy cabin in Kirkeøy, Hvaler

Ragnhild was a perfect host and the cabin was wonderful. A perfect location which was peaceful and comfortable. The cabin was clean, well looked after and Ragnhild was very helpful and welcoming. We hope to come back!
