Welcome to our old farmhouse, of which a part of the former stable has been transformed into an atmospheric B&B. Particularly furnished with a lot of art on the wall and a well-stocked bookcase. You have a private entrance with cozy living room, bedroom and private shower/toilet. There is television, with Netflix and You Tube. AN EXTENSIVE BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED. The b and b is located separately and closed off from the main house. Private entrance, private bedroom and private bathroom. There is one b and b space.

Relax and unwind in the beautiful and quiet village of Tytsjerk. At our house, we have a beautiful accommodation with a homey, warm atmosphere where you will quickly feel at ease. In the area you can completely unwind; come for a nice walk and bike ride. In the village, there is the forest of Ype, and in Burgum, you will find sauna de Leeuwerikhoeve. By bus or car, you can be in Leeuwarden in no time to shop, go to the bios or have a bite to eat. Dokkum is also recommended, or Groningen.

"As in Roaske" ("Als een Roosje" in Frisian) is a cozy guest house/apartment with private entrance, located in a characteristic street of Burgum. The Waldhûske (built in 1918), in which we live, served as a butcher's shop at the time and has a completely renovated guest house at the back. Close to the center of Burgum and within walking distance of various eateries and shops in the heart of "De Fryske Wâlden" where water, nature and various cycling and walking routes come together.

At the end of 2023, we converted our cozy B&B into an apartment that is equipped with all comforts. Logement “Smederij Sterk” is located in the old townsmithy of J. Strong. The monumental building dates back to 1907 and is located in the middle of the city center, close to museums, restaurants, cozy shopping streets and the station. The accommodation has its own entrance, a living room with its own kitchen, a bedroom and a private bathroom with shower and toilet. The accommodation has a view of and adjacent to a beautiful square where you can also sit outside.

Logement 105 is a centrally & quietly located comfortable 2-person guest house (50m2) in Burgum. You have plenty of privacy here. An excellent base for exploring the area on foot or by bike. Breakfast is not included. The city center is within walking distance and has 4 supermarkets and 2 bakeries. The cozy cities of Leeuwarden and Dokkum are 15 km away. Within half an hour, you can drive to Holwerd and Lauwersoog for the boat to Ameland and Schiermonnikoog.

Leeuwarden is 'by far' the prettiest city of the Netherlands! And it's only a 3 minutes walk to the city center. This 100 year old, cute house is located in the peaceful and quiet Vossenparkwijk. The 2 city parks Prinsentuin and Vossenpark are around the corner and you can almost see the famous Tower of the Oldenhove from the garden. Relax in the backyard with a cup of tea or go out for dinner in one of the very good restaurants in the city! Enjoy!

The Bergumermeer is only two kilometers away, where you can enjoy a beautiful view over the waters of Friesland at the Blauwhoek recreation area. Lots of privacy in a natural environment.

Guesthouse "De Serre"

In beautiful Friesland is this beautiful house with great views. The Serre is a holiday home behind our house with a nice bright room which borders the large garden. Our dog, chickens and walking ducks also stay in this garden. Great nature reserves in this region invite for hiking and cycling. In addition, Leeuwarden and Dokkum are cozy cities nearby. The train station is a 10-minute walk from the house.

Sleep in Klein Epema

10 minutes from Leeuwarden and 4 minutes from Grou is our rural farm in Idaerd. This fully furnished, modern apartment has all the comforts. The bathroom has a sink, a rain and hand shower and a toilet. There is an equipped kitchen equipped with an induction stove, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and combi microwave/oven. Smart TV, Nespresso, kettle are available. Kitchen, bathroom and bed linen are provided.

Hidden place near the center of Leeuwarden

Hidden in the Leeuwarden district of Huizum, lies the former kindergarten "Boartlik Begjin". At the end of the Ludolf Bakhuizenstraat, lies this special quiet place, within walking distance of the city center and the train station. A nice base to go into the city, shop or visit one of the museums. And also to discover the rest of Friesland. The room is also suitable as a home office (WiFi available).
