Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Huntingdon County

Keppy and Ron’s home and hospitality exceeded our expectations. We’ve stayed at many properties and this was easily the best of all on every level! The photos do not do the property justice. Their kindness and attention to detail really blew us away. We were incredibly cared for and well fed!

Such a pleasant house with all the amenities you need. The furnishings are beautiful and add to the charm. The space was perfect to host our family for graduation weekend. Large open sitting area in proximity to the kitchen with a large dining room to accommodate the whole family.

Brandon's place was exactly what we hoped for and more. we loved where it was located, and the place was so clean. We had a great time sitting outside on the deck and visiting with one another. I am disappointed that this was our last visit to Huntingdon because I would stay every time! Thanks for a great experience!

Hannah’s home was beautiful. Very peaceful all day long. No loud noises ever around the house.

Great location close to the lake and great hiking. Kitchen is well equipped. Plenty of wildlife passed through in the morning

A perfect place to stay when visiting relatives in the area. Very comfy beds with a bathroom in each room keep the kids happy with each other, too! It's a huge house, with plenty of space. We loved hanging out in the sunroom area! The kitchen is well-stocked and easy to use. We hope to stay there again when we visit the area again! Thank you for your kindness!!

Everything was very clean, fresh and as described. Comfy beds and furniture. Kitchen is accommodating. Bathrooms are clean. Bob gave us great recommendations for restaurants. We enjoyed our stay the location was perfect close to all the activities we had planned and close to family, The property had everything we needed for our stay and the yard was big enough for activities and for our dog to run and listening to the creek was very relaxing and the view of the Mountains was spectacular. We will definitely keep this place on our list when visiting the area.

My friends and I had a wonderful one-night stay at this beautifully decorated Airbnb, where everything is Penn State-themed. It brought back so many fond memories! The location is perfect—close to State College and easy to find. The place was sparkling clean, and the host was incredibly warm and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here for a cozy and nostalgic experience!

Perfect 10 out of 10 stay. Clear directions, immaculate brand new studio, location within biking distance to Allegrippis Mountain Bike Trails. Perfect communication with friendly host. Clear directions to check in and check out with a text message mid stay. EVERYTHING was provided, paper products, coffee, snacks and hygiene products. Definitely recommend a stay without hesitation. Enjoy! We did!

This was a wonderful place to stay and we're already looking forward to next time! We're used to staying in state park cabins, so this was a few steps up with a lot of added bonus features like basic linens, enough room to spread out, the animals, and a top tier campfire set up right outside. It was nice having firewood for sale at all hours right on site and the owner made us and our dog feel welcome.

This place was a great getaway for my family for Thanksgiving weekend. The property itself has enough to enjoy that you never need to leave from the fire pit, to lawn games, walks in the woods and sitting on the outdoor porch admiring the beautiful mountains at sunrise and sunset. As for the house it was spotless and the kitchen provided everything one would need to cook a feast from pots and pans, to tin foil and plastic wrap, and matches and newspaper to light fires. It was great not having to bring everything from home and all the little things the host thought to provide made the weekend that more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place!

We felt right at home and were very pleased to find it kid friendly. A very peaceful setting. Cleanliness was awesome! We liked the at home atmosphere and the creek running nearby. Would recommend it for anyone looking for something with a homey feeling.

The location was a pleasant surprise when seeing all the awesome farm animals around the property (including Walter the turkey who was pretty neat!). The owners were extremely friendly and I with them nothing but success in the future with Urban Saddle Ranch.

This is the second time that I’ve stayed at Michael’s Lake House. My family and I had another wonderful trip. This time we were able to enjoy the peaceful lake. In the short time, we made four trips to it and it was so relaxing and serene. We all enjoyed dipping our feet in and having a picnic by the lake!! Michael is always responsive to whatever we need, although we never need much because it’s all right there. It was so nice for us to enjoy our time and each other, whether it was playing ping pong, darts or games. The house is immaculate!!! It is so peaceful to go outside on the deck or take a walk. Thank you again for another great stay!!!!

Amazing host to fit the amazing surroundings, beautiful cabin, very cozy and accommodating to just stay and escape the hectic city life and recharge in mother nature. Gary was very helpful on finding things to do in the area. Grocery store and little shops/restaurants were about 15 miles away in Huntingdon, but well worth the drive because of the scenery. Definitely recommend and can't wait to be able to visit again.

Excellent site for a three-generation family gathering for a graduation at Juniata College, just 15 minutes away. Grandma, with a walker, was comfortable on the first floor, ample bedroom for another couple, plus loft area and beds upstairs for younger generation. Beautiful setting, especially in rhododendron season, and wonderful deck and fire ring.

The cabin is beautiful! Yoi can sit in the rocking chairs on the front porch and enjoy a view of the mountains. The space inside has rustic decor with all the modern conveniences to make your stay comfortable. They setup a lot of great spaces indoors and outside to sit, read, dine, or just visit. there is an amazing BBQ pit outside and a big year that our dogs thoroughly enjoyed! Staying in the cabin will now be a yearly trip!

We enjoyed our stay! On a rainy weekend, the comfortable couches, smart TVs, and screened-in porch were all appreciated. I've never needed to bring my own towels to an Airbnb before, and for the price we paid it would have been nice for them to be included. That would be my only suggestion for improvement!

The bears den was absolutely more than we could have asked for! Beautiful place , clean above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable! Close to everything. I would recommend 110% . I look forward to visiting again!

Great place! Very quiet and the little stream by the house provides great ambiance, loved to keep my window open when sleeping! Spacious kitchen and living room. Plenty of towels and the bathrooms were very clean! Not much to do around the area besides parks and whatnot but the home was very enjoyable to stay in, there was cornhole and a pool table! We didn't end up using the hot tub but it was warm and covered when we got there! Perfect place to stay if looking for a quiet mountain getaway!
