Vacation rentals with lake access in Hudson River

We had the BEST TIME at this fantastic Lakeside house in Valatie!  The house itself has 3 good bedrooms – 2 large bedrooms upstairs with a nice bathroom and tub.  The downstairs has the other cute bedroom, another full bathroom,  a good sized kitchen open to a great and large living and dining area. The VIEW from the main room is stunning and was our ‘TV’ for the week.  The lake is just gorgeous!  It has a little dock with kayaks and plenty of nice seating and lounge chairs.  It’s great to have a full grass lawn !  The pups loved the house and the yard and the lake!  The house was super clean and roomy but cozy in it’s feel.  So many great little towns nearby – it was just the perfect house to get away from the city!  The community was chill, even tho it was Memorial Day weekend.  Thanks to Michael who was super responsive (not that we needed anything!) but if we had a question. Etc.  Thank you Michael ! We hope to be back for another visit !!!  

It’s feels like pressure to write a review that stands up to ALL the other incredible reviews. I suppose we should stop there because that says it all. But we will add this: Ellie and Tower either wrote the book on hospitality or they read it 100 times. There is no doubt you will get the sense that everything is done with an eye to making you happy and comfortable…. And they do that in Spades. If this place caught your eye… act now… it will capture your heart as well.

We had an amazing time at the lakehouse! Tim and Marissa are super communicative and left many helpful directions! The property is beautiful and the house felt like home away from home! I can't wait to go back! 10/10 recommended 😊

We loved our stay here!! It was the perfect getaway for a long weekend. The property is beautiful and private but close to anything that you might need. The kitchen was super well stocked, beds were comfy, and we really appreciated the firewood supply. Nikki & Topher were great hosts - extremely responsive to all questions we had and proactive about check in/check out instructions. Would definitely come back!

Excellent location with private pond. This home was truly built for a family gathering. Wonderful entertaining spaces, large fireplace with an expansive kitchen to cook in. There is a large game room with board games to suite all ages, billiards, croquet, and a small row boat for fun.

We have been looking forward to our stay at this cabin for weeks. We needed to unplug and we got just that. It was a rainy weekend but that made the area more magical. The house is so beautiful , loved the nice art sprinkled all over the house including a lovely picture of the waterfalls behind the property which can be heard from the house! everything was clean and very homie! and we got a ton of suggestions for things to do in the area. Would definitely stay here again! 10/10

Wonderful retreat in a beautiful location. The unit was impeccable, attractive, and nicely furnished as part of the owner’s own home. We host our own personal family cabin as a vrbo and were so pleased to receive the same kind of quality and personal care that we offer to our guests. Lynne’s home exudes pride of ownership and special touches (snacks and one very nice breakfast with hosts) were offered to us. I’m their first guest who is vegan; Lynne went above and beyond to make me a tasty oatmeal breakfast. Can’t give enough stars to rate this very attractive, yet affordable, rental unit. Highly recommend. Thank you, Lynne and John, for your gracious hospitality!

Amazing view, great and comfy Airbnb. The hot tub is such a nice plus with the incredible view over the mountains. It was so well equipped we had most of our meals in the Airbnb because the kitchen was so functional. I highly recommend this Airbnb!

We had the most amazing weekend at Alice’s. She was a beautiful and gracious host. She made us banana nut bread! The rooms were clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the lake. I would recommend staying here and plan to be back!!

Michael & Sarah’s place is fantastic! Right on the lake with every amenity you could want (French press, dishwasher, home theatre, BBQ, and fire pit to name a few) The place was comfortable and clean, in an extremely tranquil location, perfect for coffee or wine looking out over the lake from the porch or dock. This home had all of the little touches that make for an extremely comfortable stay (like wood and fire starters at the fire pit). Michael and Sarah are very warm, friendly and welcoming - we would recommend this place to anyone we know visiting the area!

Beautiful stay for our last night cycling the Erie Canal Trail. The home was easy to find on bicycle, despite the road being a bit hectic, there is a wide shoulder. The water frontage makes this stay extra special. Everything inside was perfect and Beth is exceptionally responsive!

The place was beautifully decorated and everything from the plants to the antiques was wonderful to see. This is the perfect place for any stay and they only ask that you respect the possessions. John was very responsive in helping us for a late check in.

What a great little studio for a Birthday get away trip to Bethel Woods concerts, etc. Relaxing on the deck overlooking the lake for coffee in the morning or a nightcap after your days activities. 2 restaurants within a 100 yards, the Tap n Table was excellent with really Friendly staff. Must have breakfast at least once at Bethel Market Cafe, the Best! All this less than 15 minutes in any direction. I would like to come back in the Summer to take advantage of the Lake activities. Wonderful stay!

The place was really nice and the host was great! Don’t get discouraged if the power goes out during your stay cause apparently that’ll happen 2-4 times a year according to the host. Other than that I highly recommend

The cabin was in a beautiful setting and right on the water. The cabin is very rustic but had all the comforts of home. The cabin is what I expected and wanted. Having grown up in the area, I already knew how beautiful the area is and what to expect.

Amazing place. Lisa & Steve's cottage made for an amazing weekend. We had pretty bad weather but it was still a great weekend. The lake is so peaceful and the set up of the cottage is perfect. The cottage has everything you need, as well as everything you didnt know you needed! We'll definitely be back. Ate at The Aviary, The Smokehouse & The Maker (Hudson) - all very different but incredible.

I went here on a peaceful getaway with my partner for my birthday , and it was better than anything I could've imagined. exactly what we needed and even more beautiful in person than in the pictures! We had multiple questions for Feyza and she always answered very promptly. was such a clean spacious and peaceful getaway. couldn't have asked for more 😭

We had a great stay. The house was very nice—comfortable, clean, and right by the lake. Peaceful and quiet, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Scott and Joelle were excellent hosts—responsive and easy to communicate with. They made the whole process simple. Highly recommend.

A lovely home with beautiful views of the surrounding woods from each room. Very clean, modern, and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. Mark provided detailed and useful info on the place and the surrounding area. A great spot if you’re looking for some peace and quiet close to all the local attractions of the Hudson Valley.

Such a beautiful location! My boyfriend and i loved our stay at Matthew’s airbnb. The lake is stunning and we had a great day kayaking. Would definitely book again!

This cottage was absolutely beautiful and perfect for a couple’s getaway! We loved how private the cottage was and the privacy fence around the backyard. The fire pit was a great way to wind down and enjoy s’mores (provided by the hosts) at the end of the night. The hot tub was also a perfect way to relax and unwind after a day of hiking. We loved that the instructions were provided so we explicitly knew what to do and not to do. The bed and bed covers were very comfortable and incredibly clean! We enjoyed all the little details put into decorating the cottage without being cluttered. While we didn’t need to use more than a few utensils when staying there, the kitchen was fully stocked and even had a little Keurig coffee bar to use if desired. This cottage was well worth the price and a phenomenal place to stay while visiting Lake Wallenpaupack. It’s close enough to important and fun places, but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend!!!!!!

Lori’s place was everything listed ,and more !!!! We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the surroundings, the cabin was adorable, and access to the boat ,and kayaks was awesome!!! My husband and daughter enjoyed the fishing , and my son enjoyed his daily walks. I personally enjoyed sitting on dock , or the screened in porch enjoying a good book!!!! My family had a great at Lori’s place!!! Thank you, Kelly
