Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, gepflegt und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die ruhige Lage lädt zum Entspannen ein und sorgt für eine erholsame Atmosphäre. Der Kontakt mit der Gastgeberin war durchweg freundlich, unkompliziert und hilfsbereit. Ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt und kann die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Stunning view. A classic A-frame cabin. Soooo quiet and peaceful. Peaceful. Easy to walk to the restaurant and if you choose, walk to the little communities nearby, including farms and the local church. It's a cabin in the golden circle. Don't be a jerk. Appreciate. We are all lucky to experience this. And if you ask a question, Jake ANSWERS you almost immediately. But really... the porch overlooking the valley... and the AMAZING outdoor shower with hot water from the local geothermal station. SHUT UP if you don't appreciate how special this is. Therapeutic. Ahhhhhhhh. We stayed up late and saw the northern lights. Doesn't get better for peace and authentic. Thanks Jake!!!! 😁

This cabin was an amazing stay! It’s important to note that the place is about an hour out of town which is great if you are wanting a secluded location in a beautiful area. There’s plenty to do at the house, and a lot of places to sleep. Helga was very helpful and an amazing host.

We had a great time staying in this beautiful home! The beds were comfy, and it was in a perfect location. If you have little ones traveling with you, look no further, this is the perfect family home. Silja was a wonderful host and very helpful as well as accommodating! This was also a perfect place to view the northern lights from the comfort of the home. We will definitely be looking to stay here on our future trips.

Die Unterkunft liegt etwas versteckt mittem im Herzen vom Golden Circle. Man erreicht sie über einen kleinen Ausflug über einen Schotterweg der gut mit jedem Auto passierbar ist. Mit den Beschreibungen des Gastgebers ist sie sehr einfach zu finden. In der Nähe hat es einen kleinen Hof, man ist aber trotzdem immer privat und fühlt sich wie in einer warmen Hütte mit unendlichem Blick in die Ferne. Die Unterkunft selbst ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und hat nichts Unnötiges. Alles war sehr sauber, wir hatten sogar was Süsses und was zu Trinken als empfang! Das Badezimmer ist für die grösse der Hütte sehr geräumig, das Bett hat gut Platz für 2 Personen und ist bequem. Die Küche hat alles was man sich wünschen kann, wir haben uns selbst Frühstück gemacht. Alles in Allem kann ich die Unterkunft und den Gastgeber nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Das ist es 100%ig wert!

Skipholt 1 is located in a beautiful and peaceful area. The building is as described and it was clean and tidy. It could maybe use shampoo and one door handle was slightly loose, but no major issues at all. Karl was always responsive and helpful, and his dogs were friendly too! I would stay here again and recommend to others!

Cozy cabin in Golden Circle w/hot tube

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Juliana’s place! The cabin was absolutely beautiful and the hot tub was a nice bonus, especially when we saw the northern lights from them! She provided great recommendations (Mika restaurant was a perfect suggestion) and the location is ideal for traveling around central and southern Iceland. Thank you for the perfect stay!

The apartment is beautifully designed with great attention to detail – I felt at home right away. The view into the greenery is absolutely stunning and makes for a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend this place and would love to come back!
