Our private downstairs apartment, Its in a brand new house/villa in the newest part of town. It is located near the beautiful Kjarnaskógur with plenty of activities. We have everything you need and this is a perfect place to brake up the trip, do your laundry, relax & enjoy the beautiful view over the fjords & mountains when travelling in Iceland. Registered number:- HG-00020047. The cabin is 15 m2 and is a hidden nugget in our garden overlooking the fjord opposite Akureyri. The cabin was completed in April 2020. There is a kitchenette with a kettle, microwave and fridge. The WC is separate inside with a hand basin. The cabin is private and there is a half wrap around deck to enjoy the evening views and midnight skies. There is an outside shower with hot water for a natural experience.

Very nice place to stay and comfortable. Our only complaint was that the blinds and curtains still let in a lot of light during the midnight sun which made it difficult to sleep for those of us not used to the midnight sun. Other than that, it was fantastic!

The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Super easy access. Every little detail was thoughtfully prepared, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Beautiful mountain house (like a chalet) with a spectacular view! The weather in Iceland can vary from sunny to snowy in a day and this location got a lot of snow while we were there; make sure you come with a 4x4 car if you don’t want to be stuck when it snows.

Was a very nice and clean space. Had a guitar there for use which was great for me to pluck around on. A nice dart board also. Very clean. Spacious spot for the 3 people we had. Could easily be enough room for about 5. Tight for 6 but doable. Would 100 percent return to this place if I make it back to Akureyri one day!
