Cabin in the country on private fishing ponds.

A private cabin located on two private ponds which are great for hanging out or catching bass, catfish, perch or crappie. The large pond is shared with other properties but there are flat bottom boats that can be used to explore both ponds. This cabin is great for getting away from it all. It is located just outside of Rusk, TX so it is still only about a 5 minute drive to town. There are speakers and lights outside for night time enjoyment and a fire pit for an evening fire. A secluded retreat!

Cabin 2 directly on the lake!

We have 3 cabins on Houston County Lake that rent separately. 1&2 have 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms with a loft. The 3rd is a Studio. Master Bedroom has a queen bed with a private bathroom. The guest room has a full-size bunk bed that can sleep 4. The loft has two twin beds in Cabin 1 and a queen mattress in Cabin 2. The kitchen has a microwave, stove, oven, refrigerator, sink, and dishwasher. We also have a Roku TV and WIFI. We have a covered Pavilion with Pickleball, basketball, and other games.

We have farm animals and we run an animal rescue that can have up to 32 dogs. They stay in a fenced-in yard where the pool is located and love to swim with guests! (SMOKE FREE PROPERTY) This is our happy place and we hope you will love it, too! Our secluded house by the lake is two bedroom (one master with a king-size and a 2nd bedroom with 4 kid bunk beds, room to sleep on the couch, too), two bath, kitchen, washer, dryer, games, gas fire pit, decks, dock, tall trees, and tranquility. Near the south end of the lake and it is shallow. Great fishing. THE HOUSE HAS A FAINT CIGARETTE SMELL. FEW NOTICE. DO NOT BOOK IF YOU HAVE SMOKE SENSITIVITY.
