The cabin is located on a quiet street, where a lot of mountain biking and hiking routes pass. The front of the cabin has a sunny terrace and space for 2 cars to park. Behind the house you have a view of the valley and the river Ourthe. This is a lovely spot to have breakfast in the morning. We are only 1,5 km (1 mi.) away from the city centre, the supermarket, the bakery, etc. Near the cabin you have the option to rent bikes, kayaks and there is a hotel with a swimming pool just 2,5km away.

We have greatly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was a bit smaller than it looks in the photos. The space is difficult to estimate from the photos. But there was everything they needed to make it a relaxed weekend. There is a clear and complete guide available where you can find a lot of information for during your stay. Nice welcome basket for our dog. Well-equipped kitchen, nice products in the bathroom. Pellet stove is a great added value. This stay is highly recommended!

We felt right at home both inside and with the outside spaces as well. We got a quick, tasty and inexpensive meal at Deli's on the other side of the bridge and then had a great night's sleep in the peaceful surroundings.

A cottage in the green, no others seen while staying other than in the brasserie. Wonderfully quiet, waking up to the sound of birds, close to Durbuy, which is a magical town and where you can enjoy delicious dining. It was a fantastic stay in a cute cottage.( Bring your own: coffee, tea, toilet paper, oil to bake in, herbs are provided) We would love to come back!! The children also found it a wonderful time. We had booked another place but there was a technical issue. The host warned us the day before and upgraded us at no extra charge in a very large and very well-equipped suite. Perfect place to discover nature. Numerous hikes and tours of cultural interest around. Only small downside: one of the two bedrooms is poorly soundproofed. The incessant tokens and the early and noisy awakening of the neighboring guest disrupted my sleep.

The Little Durbuy House

I can only recommend a stay in Daniela’s tiny house located deep in the nature. Together with my 2 young sons we had a relaxing weekend with great memories: the house is cosy with all the confort from your own house, the restaurant on site was very welcome upon our arrival the first evening, the swimming pool, football and basketball pitch kept us busy early morning and late evening while during the day we enjoyed the many things you can do in the region known for tourism and adventure sports. Last but not least as French people we love good food; 5 minutes away by car we found high quality bread, meat, fruits and cheese for nice breakfasts and dinners at the tinny house. A 5-star place we will keep in our favorites. See you very soon Daniela!

The four of us had a wonderful week at this beautiful spot right on the river. From your own terrace you look out over the domain, with a flowing stream, fine trampolines and playground for the children, a fire pit to roast marshmallows, a cozy scrambling pony, a nice swimming pool for the necessary cooling, and especially lots of greenery and tranquility. The cottage is clean, spacious and has nice beds. The owners are extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. You can also order delicious aperoshotels, wines and breakfast/lunch baskets from them. Behind the cottage you can walk into the woods. You could also very well stay here with several families or groups; there are several gites for rent and also a nice chateau. We have enjoyed it!

We stayed one night at this Cabane in Houffalize. It is situated near a busy road but at night it is quiet. Everything you need is in the cabane. Nice salon, nice terrace and a little garden, nice kitchen and bathroom, sheets and towels… It is really spacious and very new! Unless you dislike a soft mattress, we really recommend this place.

We stayed there for 2 nights. We arrived later than planned, but that was not a problem. Anne always responded within 10 minutes and she was very friendly. The cottage is located in a beautiful area. Definitely recommended for people who want to go back to basics for a while. The power was suitable for charging the phone, but not for equipment that requires a continuous power supply (such as cpap).
