Enjoy space, privacy, nature. This is not for everyone! Relax at a private (heated) cabin that sits on a seasonal stream. There is no plumbing or electricity. The outhouse is shown in photos. Not suitable for toddlers. There is a stream with a steep rocky bank and a narrow bridge without a railing. It's perfect for folks who love the outdoors. There is a hiking trail from the cabin. Lake George (actual lake) is 1/4 mile away. The village with public beaches (and bathhouse) is a 10 min drive.

The River Cabin

The River Cabin is a simple but beautiful original log home that has a gorgeous view of Schroon River and Schroon Falls. It is privately located on a quiet lot but also only 200 feet off of Route 9. This cabin was built in 1977, by our family. It has access to a private swimming hole where you can kayak, swim, fish or just hang out. This cabin has a full kitchen, living room with propane fire place, 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. The basement has a unique game room with poker table and bar.

Located in the Village of Speculator, a beautiful place in the heart of the Adirondack Park. Right on the snowmobile trail. Kayakers can shove off from the lake right located nearby. Restaurants, pubs and a local grocery store minutes away. The cabin is perfect for 2. A third person will add a 25.00 per night fee. Due to allergy reasons we can accept no pets.

The property is roomy and private but also has two main houses and two barns within sight. We are 8 minutes from the Schroon Lake village with the river within walking distance to swim, kayak or tube in. This is also a great location for many of the tourist attractions like hiking, boating, fishing, skiing/snowboarding and snowmobiling.

Escape to the tranquility of the Schroon River with over 2 acres of private land and over 375 ft of direct Waterfront. We are nestled in the heart of the Adirondacks right off I87. Gore Mountain is a short 25 minute drive and Lake George is about 15 minutes away. Our home is located off a private road in the town of Warrensburg. Our waterfront has no motorized boats so it is perfect for swimming, tubing, kayaking or canoeing and offers great trout fishing.
