Relaxing water view retreat. Our River House is located in a nature's paradise, and is an animal free property due to the owner’s and their families severe allergies. We are just 5 minutes from enjoying everything that Homosassa has to offer. We are off a canal that leads to a nature reserve and is about 3 miles to Monkey Island. Canoes are on property so you can explore the unobserved beauty of the river. Skiffs smaller than 17ft are best to dock in our canal that leads to the river.

Shannon’s place was so cozy!! It was so clean and decorated so well. The location was close to restaurants and being right on the canal was so convenient. We were able to paddle Monkey Island. Shannon was a phenomenal host. She made sure we were taken care of and was very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

This home was was such a find! It sits on a point that is surrounded by seven sisters springs. The house was nostalgic and relaxing, we all felt like we were at the family cabin. It was in a very privet setting but close driving distance to good restaurants(the freezer:) and amenities. We will definitely be back, Thank you Jere and Darlene for making us feel at home.

I loved our stay. The drive down Ozello was so beautiful and it was very very cozy. Of course with the high temps we didn't spend too much time enjoying the outside spaces, but they were also well taken care of. We also had a close encounter with a beautiful peacock. He came right up to the porch. Very cool. Everything was clean and well stocked.

A spacious living area is furnished with a large, comfortable sectional sofa and a rustic wooden coffee table. Sunlight streams in through expansive glass doors, offering views of the outdoors. A light-colored rug covers the floor, complementing the natural wooden accents throughout the space.

A beautiful old school Florida waterfront retreat. We did a fishing trip with a boat and it was perfect for us. Be aware that what they call the loft is really a common area that the other bedrooms connect with and that you have to go through to get to them. It's not a separate living space---it's really just beds in a family room. Fine for our purposes.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need—there wasn’t a single thing we found ourselves missing. The kids had an absolute blast kayaking and swimming in the swimming hole—it was a highlight of the trip! The downstairs area was perfect for the whole family to relax, hang out, and enjoy some quality time together. Such a cozy, welcoming spot—we’d definitely love to come back!
