Vacation rentals with a kayak in Homosassa

The home is exactly as described in the listing: home was clean and came with all the boats and tubes for a fun time on the river! Lots of life jackets and goggles to use if you dont have your own. publix and walmart are a short drive in town about 10 min. The home is at the end of a small deadend couldesac with a rental on 1 side and an abandoned house on the other, beautiful nature drive, seems to be in a safe area, it was private. Plenty of space and beds, the home was clean (and we are picky) and everything was up to date not run down or worn out. Nearby fast food and "Swampys" on the water if thats what you like, but If you want quality food, drive about 30 minutes west to Inverness/Yankeetown and try Blackwater Grill, absolutely best food for you money. Being Florida natives, we didnt jump off the dock, too much grass and know what hides in the grass..we saw a huge snapping turtle in it with baby turtles near the dock. overall it was a great stay and we would come back! Thanks

Kristen was a wonderful host. Friendly & accommodating. The house was lovely, comfortable, and well equipped. I especially loved the upstairs loft with the picture window that offered a great view of the surrounding marshlands from the upstairs desk. The outdoor spaces were great for cookouts & fishing too if you’re up for a little kayaking. There are set of wind chimes that sing the most beautiful melody creating an almost hypnotically relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend!!

Easy access to the River. Boat dock had plenty of room for my 26ft boat. Enjoyed having the pool and loved the layout of the house. This is a good home for a family or even if you have a few more guest with the split floor plan. The kitchen has plenty of counter space for everything,Enjoyed the stay. Thanks!

Amazing place with easy access to the gulf. My family loved the dock for swimming and the family kayaks created memorable experiences.

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas. We were in town for a family Christmas, and it was wonderful to have our own accommodations. There was plenty of space, a ton of amenities, and communication was frequent and thorough. We did have a bit of trouble getting in, and our hosts quickly resolved the issue and checked in with us to make sure everything was okay. I highly recommend working with Brit and Brandon and staying at their beautiful property.

I absolutely loved our stay here! If you’re looking for a beautiful getaway right on the river this is your spot! We saw manatees! Floated on the river with the five star kayaks that were given to us to use! Neighbors are so friendly also! Such a sweet escape. We kayaked up the river and there were beautiful spots to stop and enjoy swimming/rope swinging/ etc. thanks again!

This is our second time coming to Brock’s beautiful place in the summer. The kids absolutely love being able to go out in the springs any time of the day. We love to eat at Swampys, going antique shopping, renting a boat, and most of all relaxing at this lovely home. We hope to be back next summer!

This was our second time renting this place and we just love it. Location is perfect, the price has been really good each time, and there's everything one needs. The house has a great lay out, with a large open living area with kitchen, dining area, and living room, and then the bedrooms are off to the sides. The large screened in area is cozy for hanging out and keeping all your things that don't need to come in the house. There are 5 single kayaks which are great and this time we needed a double kayak as well so we rented one from Easy Peasy Mobile Kayak Rental. Would definitely recommend reaching out to them if one needs additional kayaks at a fair price and they deliver and pick up. Sally is a fantastic host who has always been so responsive and we will definitely be coming back for a third time :)

Family of 5 (3 kids) and two dogs from VA. Felt the house was perfect with a great yard and cool trees. The dogs didn’t need leashed and could be at ease with pool access being safe. (My dogs can’t swim) The sheets were real cotton (this means a lot) and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of bedding and pillow options. Kitchen had the basics to cook meals which was easier. The house had everything we needed to have a great vacation other than food to eat. Close to everything we wanted to do. A great trail that was not a commercialized walk where we saw armadillos, manatees, an alligator, bald eagles, snakes and we could hear two owls talking. It was perfection. The swing out back was a nice peaceful touch and I really appreciated the grill. We saw crystal clear water at three sisters while kayaking as well as dolphins at sunset. We took a boat cruise to an island and found more shells I’ve seen in my life. I’d come back again and again. No hoopla where tons of people were.

An absolutely wonderful stay! Planning on coming back again next year to this same AirBnb! This host had everything we could need or use and she was very helpful. Loved our stay here.

Great hidden little gem! William has the place packed with everything you need for a quick get away trip! From kayaks, to crock pots. We even got a friendly visit from one of the baby alligators. Only thing i can suggest is making the house address numbers a little more visible from the road! And for other guest, make sure to shut the Florida room to help keep the place nice and cool. Thanks for the great stay!

House was adorable and contained everything we could have needed. Jan provided small details, like the coloring book with local information that was adorable. Only unfortunate thing is the guest book was full so we couldn’t add our own entry

We had a blast celebrating my fiancés birthday on the river! So many things to use for outdoor time, so close to the water! Plenty of places to sit! The Airbnb was so cool compared to outdoors!

This location could not be more perfect! The property is impeccably maintained and has the classic Florida feel we were hoping for. Roger’s Park is less than a 2 minute walk away - perfect for mid afternoon dips in the springs. Brian was an excellent host and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, even going as far as to replace the entire AC unit (!) when the existing unit was showing some signs of struggle. If that’s not dedication to guest satisfaction, I don’t know what is. Our kids are already asking to make this our yearly getaway and we would 100% book this property again in the future.

This stay exceeded our expectations. The cottage was clean and attention to detail was definitely noticed during our stay. Maria was responsive to all of our messages sent and was a great host. We enjoyed our anniversary thoroughly and would stay there again without a doubt. Overall 5 stars.

This is a perfect spot for a peaceful weekend getaway and exploring in nature. A highlight of the stay was seeing all the wildlife on the Chassahowitzka River! This cabin was cozy, and felt like home. We appreciated amenities like board games, the grill and kayaks (& lifevests) which made the experience seamless. Make sure you bring your own mask and snorkel to make the most of this great spot with its very own river access!!

My family spent Father’s Day weekend at Casey’s cabin and we loved every second of it! Peaceful, full of wildlife, private, and family friendly! What a weekend to remember. I would highly recommend this place to any nature lovers or families/couples looking to “unplug”. Can’t wait to book again!

We found the house to be very clean and comfortable. It's in a very quiet neighborhood, but easy to get to stores and local attractions. We enjoyed a campfire and time on the screen porch. The access to the neighborhood park and the use of the golf cart and paddle boards added to the value. Overall it was a great spot for a family getaway.

Booked a weekend stay for my boyfriends 28th birthday. This was such an unforgettable stay for us. I could go on and on, but I’ll keep it short and say Dustin was one of the best hosts I’ve experienced on air bnb. He responded promptly every time I had a question and was so friendly. The house was clean and had endless amenities. The main reason I booked this stay is because of the included kayaks and boat launch which made kayaking so easy. We already can’t wait to come back. Cutest cabin ever! The cabin decor was a treat witin itself. Cabin was comfy with ample room for 2. Our host was fabulous and our dig received a warm welcome as well. She was always available, stayed in contact, friendly and very accommodating. She even went so far as to get us a grill, hotplate, and a pan for our stay. I wasn't sure about the location on the property as it faced the restaurant with the parking lot outside the door, but the eye for detail in the landscaping made it feel private. Although the restaurant gets busy, it was relatively quiet. This a must stay for a lovely getaway.

We loved it there!! it was close to everything we wanted to do and we could walk to the restaurant which had great food and entertainment!!: Loved the outdoor area with the multiple decks, rocking chairs, and a fire pit!!
