Wonderful location! Loved being able to walk everywhere downtown Kona. Farmers market was next door and so many restaurants to choose from. Absolutely amazing!

The apartment was beautiful! The view was exactly as the photo depicted. The place was organized, clean, and was supplied with almost everything and anything we needed. Overall, it was a great place to stay!

Joy is a marvelous Airbnb hostess: informative, responsive, and thorough. Her unit is a gem: immaculate, well stocked and in a great location for exploring the Kona side of Hawaii and watching gorgeous daily sunsets. A special note about how the unit is stocked…all shelves are labeled for the items they hold and the unit holds everything you can need for a fun and relaxing vacation. Coffee and supplies, small appliances, a cooler for trips, Q-tips, laundry detergent and stain remover, all there and available for use! If you want a cozy rental in the Kona area, make this unit your first choice, unless, of course, we are already renting it. We would go back in a Kona minute.

We had the most magical week at Maryanne's home, would 100% recommend - we'll be back! The condo is even better than photos, it's spacious, well furnished and equipped, cozy and has the most amazing view. This has to be one of the best spots on Ali'i drive because you have an unobstructed view of the ocean and you can walk across the street for tacos (every day), and fruit/flower/fresh baked goods on Fri/Sat/Sun -- and a few minutes down the road is Da Poke Shack... so good! It's really easy to jump in the car and head down to Magic Sands for some boogie boarding, our favorite morning activity. We came with our baby and 8 year old and the condo was perfect for our family of four. Although shades are not technically black out, they keep the rooms very dark and we rarely noticed any street noise. Loved the pool and we used the pool table a lot as well. Maryanne has a stocked closet full of beach goodies (snorkels, boogies, etc) as well as tons of beach towels. Overall, amazing!

Super close to the beautiful magic sands beach and only 10 minutes away from manta ray snorkeling which was an amazing experience!!! Nice central spot for all the stops we had planned across the island. Howard was so friendly!

I enjoyed my stay in Kona. This place was exactly as advertised and looked just like the pictures. Thomas was super proactive and responsive to all of my needs. Check in was easy and clear instruction for check in and check out were provided. Amenities included a wide selection of beach items which was fantastic. Location was wonderful with walkable access to several popular but never crowded beaches. Private parking was a plus. I recommend.

Fantastic condo. Bed was very comfortable. Loved having 2 bathrooms. Beach amenities were in closet, so no need to buy any. Coffee pot and electric kettle for hot tea was very appreciated. AC was quiet and kept the condo comfortable. There are some good restaurants next door. Loved the covered parking. Washer and dryer in the unit was a huge plus. Would definitely stay here again.

Wow! The location is amazing! Right next to one of the best beaches on the big island! There’s is also a great coffee shop and restaurant downstairs. The room/kitchen has everything you need and the bed and couch were comfy! Lots of beach gear available too! Chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear, boogie boards. Everything was super clean and organized! AC works great but it was even nicer sleeping with the windows open and hearing the waves crash below. Truly felt like sleeping on the beach! Sunsets were magical!

We loved our stay right on the beach. It was perfect for our family of 4! We would stay again :)

Peter and Lori are friendly and welcoming and their property is truly lovely -- it is evident that a lot of care, effort and thought goes into to maintaining it. The cottage makes a perfect home base for exploring the area. It is also so pretty and comfortable that you just might want to pick up a pizza, watch some Jeopardy and dream about what it would be like if every Friday evening was that perfect :) Thank you so much Peter & Lori!

The place was very beautiful and well located near all the beach fun. The views and ocean breezes were incredible and my family loved it. We left the windows open in the evening and in lulled us to sleep at night. We explored the rocky beach in the backyard and had fun looking for treasures. Our family will be back again soon!! We loved our stay here! Barb was a great, responsive host and the location was ideal for getting to town. Kona is quaint and walkable. The home is an architectural delight! It is beautiful, peaceful, and comfortable. The koi pond was our favorite place (just be ready with eco-friendly mosquito repellent). Barb provided many resources for visitors and keeps a well-appointed home. We sincerely thank you for the opportunity to stay in your lovely home!

First of all, the area was amazing!! Manini beach was literally a 2-3 minute walk down the road for great snorkeling (gear is provided, if you need it) with a path for some amazing sunsets. There are a couple of fruit stands in the neighborhood, which was great for my mother’s daily banana stroll. You can see the bay from the amazing lanai that we spent so much time on to watch the snorkelers, kayakers and dolphins. The house itself was great! Split into half, with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on either side, separated by an open concept living room and kitchen. The dining room is outside…where else would you want to sit down and eat? There were A/Cs in the bedrooms if you needed them, but the ocean breeze was usually enough for most of my party. There were lots of spices in the cabinets for cooking and some staples leftover from past renters. The long, winding and narrow roads make some great scenery, but also make your trip to anywhere else a bit long. I would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay at Mary’s place. The home is nestled in a lush, serene setting and was fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Mary and her property manager were responsive, helpful, and accommodating. We loved relaxing by the pool and taking evening walks to catch the sunset over the ocean at the nearby park. The kitchen was a joy to cook in, and we loved the open-air layout—it felt like a home away from home. Waking up to the sight and sounds of the ocean from the upstairs bedroom is something we’ll miss. Thank you, Mary, for graciously sharing your beautiful space with us! The memories our family made at this home are something we'll always hold dearly.

Wonderful house and location for our vacation. So relaxing to sit on the balcony and listen to the ocean. Dave was very helpful and responsive, in addition, they had a property manager that was equally responsive. Beautiful setting.

The house has beautiful ocean views, our favorite part of the stay was falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves. The kids loved having the pool right outside the house. We only wish there had been more umbrellas for shade. The kitchen was well stocked (yes, ocean views from the sink, we didn’t mind doing dishes at all!). The house was spacious, comfortable, private, and had everything we needed. As clearly stated in the listing, there is no central AC. If you’re sensitive to heat, keep that in mind. The portable units in the bedrooms weren’t very powerful. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The house was well-equipped, there was great snorkeling right outside the property, and was conveniently located near coffee shops, restaurants, and beaches. We felt right at home in the condo and were sad to leave after 6 nights. The check-in instructions were clear, the dedicated parking spot was super convenient (we had a Kia Sportage and fit just fine), and the host’s guidebook was full of great local recommendations. The condo itself was spacious, clean, and private - perfect for a relaxing stay. We especially loved the lanai, where we could listen to the birds chirping in throughout the day and enjoy beautiful sunsets in the evening. While you can hear some street noise from the lanai, it wasn’t an issue for us. The location is great - just a 5-10 minute walk to restaurants and shops on Ali’i Drive. We didn’t initially realize that the unit only has ceiling fans (with AC in the bedroom only), but the fresh air and fans kept us comfortable throughout our stay—it was around 75°F most days with occasional rain showers, and we really enjoyed the breeze. Highly recommend this spot for a peaceful and well-located home base in Kona!

The view!!! It’s probably one of the best on the island!! GORGEOUS sunsets! Falling asleep to the sound of the ovean, amazing! Don’t be put off by the aged exterior of the condo building. When you step inside, the unit is immaculate and equipped with everything you need! Including beach chairs, towels, snorkel gear etc…We had a problem getting the tv on and Barry called us with the service provider on the line and walked us through. We felt so at home and comfortable. There is a great restaurant and bar downstairs which we frequented. And the access to the beach was so nice. We would definitely stay again. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you Barry and Terry!

Jan and Cami were very nice to deal with. Their condo is in an amazing location. They thought of everything to make their guests comfortable. Very well organized space. It was clean and inviting.

Lovely and spacious apartment with the most beautiful views. It was all very clean with all amenities including beach towels. Dani was very responsive and gave lots of great tips and advice. They also made sure we were settled and comfortable, which I thought was very kind.

Chad’s home was a wonderful. First of all he was great with communication. We were desperate because our original Airbnb reservation, the host never gave us the code to enter the home and never responded until a half hour before the original check in. Luckily with the Airbnb customer service help, we found Chad’s home. It was so relaxing waking up every morning to the water watching the surfers as we had our coffee. In the afternoon we took the best naps listening to the waves crash. The bed was so comfy, well stocked kitchen and lots of beach things like chairs, towels and coolers. We can’t thank Chad enough for the perfect Hawaiian stay!

The lanai is amazing. We watched surfers and enjoyed coffee every morning. And sunsets are priceless from the lanai and pool area. The condo is close to everything on the western shore. Magic Sands Beach is one mile south. Amazing snorkeling two miles south. Ali'i Drive is wonderful.

Awesome location and lodgings. The soothing sounds of the ocean are the best.

Would definitely stay in this condo again. Has been updated since the pictures. Bathroom is newly renovated and stainless steel refrigerator instead of what is pictured Very close to everything but still very, very quiet and peaceful. Michael thought of everything from a welcoming gift, to everything you could possibly need for your days at the beach. Chairs, umbrella, pool, noodles, boogie boards, cooler, and everything for snorkeling. The air conditioners kept us plenty cool. Short walk to the pool and hot tub. Michael totally took care of us.
