Our stay at Dora’s Cottage was absolutely delightful — peaceful, comfortable, and filled with the warm charm of Barbados. The cottage is nestled in a quiet, safe neighborhood, making it the perfect retreat to relax and recharge, while still being conveniently close to beaches, shops, and restaurants. The space was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully prepared with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to soft linens. We especially enjoyed the outdoor area — ideal for morning coffee and unwinding after a day of exploring the island. Corey was a fantastic host — welcoming, responsive, and full of great local recommendations. His hospitality truly made the experience feel personal and memorable. If you’re looking for a serene and authentic stay in Barbados, Dora’s Cottage is a beautiful choice. Lex’s place had it all. There is a beautiful beach right outside the back door, it’s walkable to a grocery store, several cafes and bars and the Friday fish fry. We also could grab busses right outside the house to get to Bridgetown for more beaches and restaurants. Walking around felt safe (well lit) but of course be aware of your surroundings and the cars wiz by so be aware of where the sidewalks are. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. We loved how there were lots of towels and pillows! The only thing to prepare for is that the second bedroom gets traffic noise so maybe bring earplugs if you’re sleeping in that room.

Salty toes is unbelievable!, and it's a must visit! From the cleanliness of the house itself to the sandy beach coming right up to the outdoor seating area, simply amazing! It's one of those places that's quiet and off the main street but it has everything on its doorstep! lovely bars, restaurants, food courts, lovely boardwalks etc it has it all.. the house was spotless, fully stocked with everything you could imagine. Big cooker, big fridge freezer/ washing/ dryer facilities. Salty toes has ample space for families. Two big seating areas inside for eating at, and then the outdoor area just has to be seen! Amazing! All 3 bedrooms were huge, crisp clean linen and all beds with memory foam mattresses! We'll definitely be back to Salty Toes, home away from home. I'd be giving this place 20/10! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Paolo was extremely helpful and friendly with great recommendations. The house is on a cute gated street across the street from a great surfing spot. Walking distance to Miami Beach which is a pleasant beach with a ton of shade trees. Oistins local fishing village is close enough to walk. For more lively area a quick jaunt to Rockley beach by car. For us a quiet walk to the surf and beach was ideal. Paolo must be one of the friendliest hosts we’ve had! The house was spacious and serene. Kitchen had all the necessary items. Can’t wait to return!

We had a lovely week at Lorraine's place. We really liked the neighbourhood. Dover beach is a short walk away. We also got the bus to Miami beach which isn't far. You don't need a car unless you want to explore the island. We hired a car for two days so we could visit other places. Otherwise we stayed local. The restaurant recommendations were helpful and we had a lovely meal at the Italian place Lorraine suggested. It's easy to walk to St. Lawrence Gap where there are lots of bars and restaurants. We all loved the pool which is a good size and the kids loved the daily visits from the monkeys. The bungalow is spacious and has everything you need. Would highly recommend.

Matthew and Eric were phenomenal hosts, super helpful, very responsive, and incredibly accommodating. I really appreciated how open and willing they were to meet our requests. That meant a lot! The place itself was lovely and located in a prime area, close to beaches, and restaurants, and with plenty of transportation options nearby. It felt like getting the best of everything at a great price. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Ken’s place met our expectations, - every room was perfectly laid out with all necessities required for convenience and comfort, We were relaxed and did not lack in any way for household utilities/utensils to improve our vacation. Thank you Ken for your hospitality.

Vuemont is secluded and peaceful with good amenities and really responsive staff. (We didn't want for anything, but Alicia checked in regularly to make sure we had all we needed and sent us holiday/restaurant tips which was lovely, making us feel more like family friends than random guests.) The apartment was really spacious and light and had everything we needed to relax, cook for ourselves and enjoy our holiday. The complex is really secure with 24hr staff, it is a little remote which makes lovely for a quiet restful time, but a short drive away from St Peters and attractions like the nature reserve and Haymans Market. Our favourite part was the lovely deck area that overlooked the pool and gardens. A great place to spend the evening with a rum cocktail! I would highly recommend and definitely come again. It could easily become a home from home......

We spent two amazing weeks at Yuri’s apartment and couldn’t be happier. The apartment was clean, bright, and well-equipped — it had everything we needed. The location was perfect, with free parking, a huge pool, and easy access to both Accra and Worthing beaches. There were also great cafes and restaurants nearby, making our stay in Christ Church one of the best decisions we made. Yuri was incredibly responsive and kept us updated about anything that might affect our stay, though we weren’t impacted by anything at all. We highly recommend staying here — and we’ll definitely be back next time if possible!

A beautiful and quiet house conveniently located a few minutes from the beach and the conference center

We had the best stay at Mariam’s. The house is beautiful - the photos really don’t do it justice. Mariam went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and was so quick to communicate. The location was great - close to everything we needed whilst still feeling private and quiet. Sometimes by the pool we could hear the sounds of the neighbourhood, but we were never disturbed. We did enjoy the company of a very friendly cat, who would sometimes visit while we were by the pool. Amanda and Desmond were on hand and were brilliant. One evening the gas bottle of the BBQ ran out during cooking. However Mariam had this rectified by the time we even awoke the next morning. We’ll definitely be back - it’s a beautiful house. Thank you!

Quiet, beautiful spot on the south end of the island. Great, private view of the beach and mangroves from sprawling gardens. Occasional monkey visitors. Practical kitchen with needed equipment. Good ac in bedrooms. Giant sliding door for the main room. Strong WiFi in office and most of house and immediate deck (occasionally unstable but think that’s island issue). 15 min to grocery store. Most higher end restaurants and resort beaches on northwest coast 30 min+. Short walk down to beach - rough not swimmable but beautiful. Host was the most helpful we’ve ever had with Airbnb. Helped with all kinds of activity / reservations (for a nominal fee).

My daughter & I greatly enjoyed our stay at Peter’s airbnd. We loved the flowers, monkeys, and the peaceful atmosphere. Peter is a wonderful host. He had a driver pick us up from the airport. We gave him a grocery list and he bought our initial items which made it much easier for us (of course we reimbursed him). Then he made our first dinner for us and answered all our questions. We loved the movie nights- we watched movies sitting in an old pickup with movie projected on wall. He even made us popcorn. The best part was the pool onsite available for the other guests in the compound.

Definitely a gem to stay at. I was able to have the entire backyard and space for myself! I didn’t get a chance to use the pool but i felt like i was in a luxury hotel. Corey was very attentive and called to ensure everything was okay!! Would recommend !!!!

Brian and Kimberley are lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome and checked in with us to make sure we were happy. The house is lovely, it’s in a fairly quiet neighbourhood with a lot of greenery surrounding it and close to everything. It is a little dated and doesn’t have air con downstairs in the open plan living room/kitchen which meant we hardly used it as it could get real hot at a certain time of day. The house entertainment was quite poor/non existent. Only one small tv in the whole house- in the living room, which again was dated and had lines running through it. Overall it was a comfortable stay and I would book again.

Had a wonderful stay at Dreams!! From the minute you walk in and see the stunning panoramic view of the ocean, you will be left with a smile on your face for the duration of your stay!! Simply breathtaking!! The place is as described, very clean and comfortable. Access to the pool which also has a stunning view, and steps away from your own beach. Carl was very friendly and helpful in every way possible, giving suggestions on where to eat and must see places to visit, he even gave us a little cooler to take with us on our adventures. Very cool guy !! I would recommend to rent a car to get around and you have your own parking space which is very convenient. Animal Flower Cave is a must see, and only a 15 minute ride away and The Fish Pot is an excellent restaurant just a 3 minute ride up the street. This was our first time to Barbados and nothing but great things to say about it ! It's not a question of if I'll be coming back to Dreams...it's a question of When!!

We had a wonderful months stay in Elizabeth's cottage. We felt at home as soon as we stepped inside. The kitchen was very well equipped. Super comfy beds and lovely bed linen and plenty of towels. It was extremely clean and we loved the outside space. The locals were so friendly and we always felt safe. Elizabeth's Dad, Tommy was near if needed and Heather did a wonderful job cleaning each week. Had some great chats ! Missing the sunshine and having breakfast on the veranda. You can see the sea from the cottage and be swimming in 5 minutes! There is a great fish market at the end of the road where the fish is so fresh. We visited last year and stayed in a hotel but staying in a cottage for us was so much more enjoyable. We did hire a car as we wanted to explore the island but it's not a necessity. Thank you, Elizabeth, would love to return in the future.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dario's Airbnb in Speightstown! The property was clean and comfortable—exactly as pictured, if not better. Located on a quiet, colourful street only a short walk to the beach, and with plenty of restaurants near by this Airbnb was ideal. The property was very well maintained with a beautiful garden in the front, and mango tree in the back offering plenty of space to relax in peace in the sun or shade. The outdoor shower and drying lines were much appreciated on return from the beach. Dario was friendly and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay. The Banks and snacks upon arrival were a lovely bonus treat! We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, memorable getaway!

I stayed two weeks at Carol’s place together with two friends and we couldn’t be any happier with it. First of all, Carol is a great host! She answered quickly if we needed anything, the house is equipped with everything you need and more. The location was more than great and the help we got from Shaunelle was excellent. If we needed anything, Shaunelle was a text away. I can definitely recommend staying at Carol’s and I’m sure that I will be booking her place again when I come down. We loved it!!

We had a fabulous 8 day stay. The cottage is well equipped and is perfectly placed for shops,beaches,bars and restaurants. There is a short cut to the supermarket which we found priceless when carrying groceries. The sunset crest club was minutes away and has excellent facilities for a day round the pool. We ventured out along the beaches which were beautiful and empty. Shopping centre is close by also. Lizbeth and Patrick very helpful and lovely owners even helped us out with some milk which was hard to come by. Would definitely go again but I’d go for longer next time.
