Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Holden Beach

Dawn is a great communicator and was quick to respond when I had questions. She checked in with me during our stay to see if we needed anything, which was a nice touch. The house is cozy and well-stocked, and set up nicely for our family’s week-long stay. The extra refrigerator on the ground floor came in handy. We really enjoyed the outdoor spaces and spent lots of time playing corn hole, hanging out on the dock, and relaxing on the porch when we weren’t on the beach. We had a great stay!

It was our second stay here and we feel right at home there. We love the spacious back porch and large fenced yard for our dogs. It is very walkable to the beach but we were able to get parking by the beach access. The house is well stocked with everything you need and even lots of Tupperware! The owners have been renovating and adding to the appeal since the last time we came five months ago. We can’t wait to come back again.

My family and I had a great time at John's place. we enjoyed the backyard, the home was perfect, and the nearby restaurants were amazing. We also enjoyed going to Holden Beach and spending the day with our grandbabies. Erin left us some great snacks and even came to the home to show us how to work the TV. It ended up being batteries for the remote but nevertheless she made the trip to help. I would definitely recommend John's place and stay there again myself.

The pictures does no justice. An amazingly beautiful home. The backyard is a relaxing oasis. James was very tentative in responding to our questions. My family and I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Lydia’s place was beautiful and so close to the beach. My family loved it and the fenced in yard for my dog. My husband loved the outdoor shower too.

We had a great stay as always at BHI. Especially grateful for all of the little things Vacaysh had to make traveling with our 2 and 4 year olds easier. The kids wore out the bikes and scooters in the garage on the culdesac and loved taking the kayaks down to the salt marsh at high tide. The linens were amazing. Best towels I’ve ever had in a rental. Ultimately love how this rental felt like Air BnB when it just started, a direct connection to the family you’re renting from and a space that feels lived in a warm, not just a rental property with a big property management group behind it. Stef picked up my phone call on the first ring when I needed something and was easily reachable by text. Overall really pleased with the great family time and a great place to stay!

The house was immaculate! From living quarters, kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom, screened porch and everything in between it truly felt like no corner was missed and as a mom of 2 young kids that was such a relief to walk into. There were beach and pool items that were actually usable and not rusted and salt water rotted like your typical rental spots. The location was perfect. Far enough from the main road to be private, but close enough to take the golf cart or walk anywhere you’d need to go. Mary was communicative, thankful and kind. I would not hesitate to rent here again.

My family had a wonderful experience! We had our teenage son and our two dogs. Our son loved the location and the house itself. Our dogs loved the fenced in area, it was convenient to be able to let them out in the morning. We all enjoyed fishing off the dock and relaxing in the hot tub. Dog bowls were provided

Great place! The location was fabulous. The space was nicely decorated and beautifully maintained.

Our stay was just the getaway we needed! Lary’s place was extremely clean and comfortable! the outdoor space and landscaping were spectacular, it felt like being at a resort. the neighborhood was quite and relaxing, however not walkable to town as there are not many side walks. definitely rent a bike or a golf cart!

We loved the fenced in porch with comfy beach chairs to unwind at night. The backyard was perfect for our dog to stretch his leg and do is business. We appreciated having access to the bikes, beach chairs and all the fun extras left for us to use. Comfy bed and super quiet neighborhood was just what we needed. We would recommend and plan on coming back ❤️

We had such a wonderful time at Mary Margaret's place! Being steps from the beach was incredibly convenient, making it so easy to enjoy the sun and sand whenever we wanted. We also really appreciated having a cool bar with great drink specials and live music just around the corner. The apartment itself has such a lovely bohemian beach feel, it's really well designed and so comfortable. We're definitely hoping to come back soon!

The home was very comfortable and fit our group of 4 easily. All the owners were very proactive and polite and made my first stay very easy.

Me and three others enjoyed our stay here! The condo is exactly as the photos show, it is very clean and roomy for four adults! There is an ocean view balcony and a street view balcony for fresh air. It is close by (walking distance) to surrounding restaurants/bars and the beach. We enjoyed the pool during our stay as well! Susan communicates well and is very responsive! We will be booking again when staying in town in the future!

We love staying at vintage beach houses that are not your usual cookie-cutter type of places that are so common. I love that this house was built by family. You can feel the love, history, and general good vibes in this house. Laura was very helpful and generous with answering all my questions, which I really appreciated! We loved sitting on the back porch (feels like a treehouse!) and watching the birds in the morning and the sunset over the marsh in the evening. It’s a short and straightforward drive to the beach and a very pleasant do-able walk (just over a mile) if you want to get some extra steps in. Laura has everything you need for the beach - chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, wagon. Beds and furniture were very comfy and we felt right at home at Laura’s place! Thank you, Laura, Brian, and Melissa for a wonderful stay!

We loved our stay here! The room is actually bigger than it looked in the photos. There are many great restaurants and breweries within walking distance. The neighborhood is quiet and safe.

Definitely a wonderful place. Would recommend it to anybody that's thinking about booking!

I’ve stayed at this resort before in an RV. Staying in the cabin was just as great. We intend to return. Easy access, friendly staff, and overall great guest in the resort. I highly recommend.

I will definitely book again! This place was a hidden gem! The quiet area, the beautiful views and peaceful atmosphere was the perfect getaway in Columbus county. I enjoyed fishing, the dock, the back porch and I had a wonderful trip! The host was proactive and friendly! She left great advice and instructions. I slept so peacefully!

The cutest place! Perfect for a couples get away. The deck out back was so relaxing after a day at the beach.

Location was absolutely incredible. Just a few steps from the beach. Proximity to restaurants and nightlife is amazing as well.

Had a peaceful stay 🙂 Didn't have any issues at all. The air conditioners cool off the house nicely, and the stay was very comfortable. I couldn't get the back bedroom TV to do much, but I didn't reach out or try very hard to figure it out... haha.

Such a charming little spot! My kid loved the loft bed and hammocks. Very friendly atmosphere. Very responsive, friendly, and helpful host.
