There were four of us at Tim's place over the long Pentecost weekend. Despite the really cheap accommodation price, we received a few small welcome gifts, such as wine and fruit. In addition, all the utensils you need are available in the kitchen, such as baking paper, coffee filters, etc. The apartment is quite small, but well laid out and above all sweetly furnished and decorated. The area is quiet, as the apartment is behind the house and thus away from the street. In the small village itself, you cannot do so much, but you can reach Bad Staffelstein, Bamberg or Coburg in a short time by car.

Cozy, compact room in a beautiful remote setting. The room has everything needed to stay overnight. With privacy and views over the garden. If you need more kitchen space, you will find it one floor down in the outdoor kitchen. Eckart was friendly and we felt welcome right away. Perfect for those looking for a place to sleep nearby or time in nature.

My stay with Birgit was pleasant all around. I was in town for a two-day training and felt very well taken care of in her apartment. The accommodation is excellent – well-maintained, comfortably furnished and equipped with everything you need.
 Birgit herself is a great host: very warm, helpful and always available. The check-in was very smooth and easy. I would come back anytime and recommend the place without reservation!

This is our second stay at Carmencita’s. We always feel extremely welcomed and love walking around Herzogenaurach. We very much hope to be visiting again soon.

We spent a family weekend here with 5 adults and 1 baby. The apartment is very spacious, was super clean, everything was very well thought out and nothing was missing. If you want to look for something, it's quite noisy. You can quickly get to Bamberg by bus or train. Hallstadt itself is also nice and you can eat well.

We stayed a couple of nights at Hedwig’s place and were very happy with the accommodation and the beautiful location couldn’t have been more private and peaceful. Hedwig met us for check in and although we couldn’t speak the same language we got a thorough tour and knew exactly where things were. Hedwig’s husband bought us some bread for the kids to feed the deer which was so lovely. Hedwig recommended a restaurant up the road so we gave that a go and it was delicious. Messages were always responded to very quickly and we were very happy. The beds were comfy too!

We enjoyed it very much, the house is very cozy, spacious and beautifully renovated. The garden is great and our children and we felt very comfortable! We will be happy to come back sometime!

A beautiful and renovated accommodation in the countryside in the middle of Franconia. The house was spacious and offered enough space for our young family of five, with a large, cozy garden to play, explore and be creative. A ping-pong table and a foosball table provided additional fun for all ages. Everything was tidy and clean, we didn't miss anything. The location is very nice and quiet, yet only a short drive from supermarkets, restaurants and excursion destinations. The hosts are super friendly, respond quickly and welcomed us warmly incl. Excursion tips, restaurant recommendations and a sweet surprise!

Great place for families! We spent wonderful days in Birgit and Kalle's apartment. We were greeted on a warm summer day with cool drinks - perfect. We especially liked the tranquility, the large terrace overlooking the countryside and the beautiful garden, which invited us to relax and play. As a child, you experience paradise on earth. Lots of toys, books, games, balls, vehicles, etc. are available, plus vehicles for outside, trampoline, table tennis, sandbox, etc. Otherwise, the apartment is superbly equipped - we lacked nothing. The insect screens on the windows are also great. Having arrived by electric car, we were pleased to be able to charge it via a socket directly at the carport. Bitgit and Kalle met us in a friendly and helpful manner. As a starting point for activities in the area and the region, the location is ideal - you can walk directly from the house or reach various excursion destinations after a few minutes by car.

My stay at Johannes’ place was truly wonderful and comfortable in every way. The house was spotless and well-organized upon arrival, with great attention to detail. The furniture was cozy, and the overall atmosphere was calm and peaceful—it truly felt like a home away from home. Communication was smooth, and any questions or concerns I had were addressed promptly and professionally. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, making it perfect for both relaxation and exploring the nearby area. 5 ★ Stay – Perfect Anniversary Retreat We chose Cristina’s place to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! From the moment we arrived, we felt an abundance of good vibes and positive energy throughout the house. The location is wonderfully quiet, surrounded by nature, with plenty of lovely walking paths. The house itself was cozy, spotlessly clean, and felt like a warm hug. It was the ideal serene getaway we were hoping for. With so many interesting places just a 30‑minute drive away, we were able to soak in the region’s charm—Veste Coburg, the impressive fortress known as the "Franconian Crown," is a must-see. Cristina was truly a perfect host: proactive, always available, and a pleasure to communicate with. Her thoughtful touches and responsiveness made our stay effortless and enjoyable. We highly recommend this lovely retreat to anyone seeking peace, charm, and access to the gems of Franconia. We’re already hoping to stay here again.

The apartment was very nice, everything quite new, modern bathroom and kitchen. Perfect for a stay for two.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the size of the apartment. It is huge and lovingly furnished, everything is available and sparkling clean. Philipp personally welcomed us, showed us everything and explained. In the summer temperatures, we enjoyed the coolness in the apartment and the shady seating area outside. We will be happy to come back.

We were 6 friends who spent a weekend in Bamberg. The living/dining room was the perfect size. 3 single bedrooms that were spacious and nicely decorated. Super recommended!

We rented the place for the parents-in-law. Calm and clean appartment with a beautiful view, grocery shopping is possible in the neighbourhood, public transport is easily accessible and brings you directly to the city. Michael was super friendly and reactive. We definitely would recommend his place.

Perfect spot for our trips into Erlangen & Nuremberg, supermarket up the road is in easy walking distance, 254 bus stop just around the corner for Erlangen and the beer festival.

Beautiful large apartment and great hosts. In wonderful weather, we were able to use the beautiful and well-maintained garden, which was the highlight for our two-year-old son. Ralf was super friendly, accommodating and flexible and also his parents very friendly, helpful and gave our son a lot of fun and joy. All in all, a great experience and an unreserved recommendation. The apartment has everything you need and we were proactively offered, just to ask if we were missing something for cooking, etc. Thank you and happy to come back anytime!
