The apartment is located in a historic French house, built in the early 1930s. It has been renovated and transformed with my love. All the decorations are handmade, making it truly the best place for relaxation and rest during your holiday. It is filled with natural light and surrounded by greenery, with a direct view of “Van Mieu - Temple of Literature” The entrance to the apartment is a little bit small private entrance on the side of the house number 3 Van Mieu, Dong Da, HN nice!!!

Phuong Anh is a lovely and responsive host, we were offered cleaning service as we stayed for two whole weeks, also whenever we had any questions they were responded to promptly. The place itself is really clean and for us was perfect for the price we paid. It’s also very easy to get grabs from the street outside, there’s also many very nice cafes and milk tea places that are open late. The only comment I would have if you are a light sleeper consider earplugs, Vietnamese people are very hard working and start work much earlier than perhaps we are used to so you may find it helpful to have them! This is not an issue with the Airbnb but you should consider this in order to adapt to the lifestyle of locals :) I recommend 100% stay here for either a short or long stay!

The apartment was lovely and in a great location for exploring Hanoi, especially the Old Quarter. The bed was super comfortable, which was a welcome relief after a day of sightseeing. The only minor thing is that the street noise could be a bit loud at night, so light sleepers might want to pack earplugs. We’re not light sleepers and like to stay out late, so the street noise didn’t bother us at all. In fact, being in the Old Quarter gave us a true local experience that we’d never get staying in a hotel. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Vân was a fantastic host! The flat was spotless, well-equipped, and perfect for our stay. The air conditioning was 10/10, the bed was super comfortable and the balcony was great to soak up the atmosphere of Hanoi’s old quarter. Vân was always quick to respond and shared great nearby food recommendations. She knew the area well and gave us helpful tips on how to spend our time. The location was perfect, with plenty of great cafes and restaurants just a few minutes away. We couldn’t have asked for a better host, definitely recommend for solo travellers or couples wanting an authentic experience in Hanoi. We wish we had stayed for longer!
