川辺の一軒宿　togu tsubakiyama

Located on a stone wall where two rivers meet, this renovated traditional house surrounded by trees is a single unit inn. There are no other buildings within sight, so you can enjoy the sound of the river, the sound of birds, and the sense of unity with nature, and the water supply is spring water (water quality inspection has been completed). Depending on the season, there are people who come and go from the river next to the house, playing in the river and aiming to reach Kappa Falls. If the weather is good, you can play in the river, BBQ with the ingredients you bring, You can also enjoy a fire. (Please be careful when handling fire.) When it rains, you can enjoy the ingredients you brought over the charcoal fire in the Irori fireplace in the room, or cook while listening to the sound of the river, as we also provide cooking utensils, a range, and dishes. If you go up the promenade along the river, you will also find Kappa Falls about 150 m away. Please make sure you have food and drinks such as dinner before you check in. It takes 20 minutes to drive slowly to the supermarket. The host is a natural vegetable farmer!　 This 120-year-old traditional house is available for rent. There is a dining room on the first floor and two bedrooms on the second floor, separated by a staircase. Meals are home-cooked, with a focus on vegetables grown by the host, without fertilizers or pesticides. Meat or fish are also served, but vegetarian meals are also available upon request. You can also enjoy the free-range chicken eggs on the premises and our special homemade miso.
