Family-friendly vacation rentals in Hévízi

We can only say here that the place is absolutely amazing. Located directly on Lake Balaton, now nice and quiet in April and the house or the equipment is very good. A dream if you can sit in the hot tub or on the sofa in not so warm weather and look out on the Lake Balaton through the large panoramic windows. All in all, this was a fantastic stay for us Hungarian fans here in April.

Perfect for a night or two, not for my taste for days. Quite remote (for walking) from the beach but most of all traffic noise as the structure is directly off the main road. I have no other comments so I would recommend a visit.

Kristina is a wonderful hostess! We arrived at 12 am by car, we were met, shown where to park, showed the apartment, treated to cakes) There is parking near the house, the house itself is very beautiful. You can rent a bike, and the price is 2 times lower than in the city center. The lake is 10 minutes - 15 minutes walk. 5-10 minutes to several restaurants. So stop, you won't regret it!

Amazing place!!! Beautiful view of the lake (even from your pillow on one of the beds!). Great balcony. Central location for exploring the North side of the lake. Up a walkway and some stairs inside so maybe not perfect for anyone with limited mobility. Not a single thing other than that could be a negative. We will absolutely be trying to stay with them next time we're in the area!!!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was cozy. The kids enjoyed the garden with their own playground. We received super recommendations from the host. Every day, there's something kid-friendly just a few minutes drive away. We loved Lake Balaton in the fall!

Beautiful place, large area, dog friendly, fenced. Interesting home, stylish. Beautiful neighborhood - great for walking, adventures, bike. Near Balaton, restaurants, shops. I recommend! Laszlo is very friendly and helpful. She has a wonderful dog Latte.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Very quiet area with lots of things to do. We cycled the path around the lake, swam in Lake Heviz and walked up to the lookout from the house. We ate in a great restaurant recommended by our hosts too. The flat has everything you need - we especially appreciated the washing machine. Hot tub was amazing - we used it every night. Communication was great and we received lots of local tips and suggestions. Would highly recommend. We stayed with children aged 8, 11 and 13.

We really loved this place, we were a family of four who stayed for 5 nights, and were very comfortable. It's a homely and beautiful old farmhouse that has been modernised well, with care and good taste, so as to maintain the character of the property but feel comfortable. It has a thatched roof and thick walls, which keeps the place cool in summer (and I guess warm in winter). We were there at the end of a hot August, but the house was cool enough with windows (fitted with mozzie nets) open in the evening. The outside dining area and garden are very relaxing. There are daytime biting mosquitos, so do bring repellant. There is a charming and peaceful local beach nearby (paid entry), great for families. The house provides bikes, which is great as there are cycle paths nearby and also very useful for popping out the the shops. Hypermarkets and all necessary shops short cycle or drive away.

We came back to this house after 2 years and had a pleasant stay again. The house has everything a family needs. We'd love to come back again. Thanks :)

The apartment was spacious and super clean. It looked even much better in reality than in the pictures. There was a beautiful garden as well and the location had good atmosphere.

Adrienn is a very kind and helpful landlord, and the communication with her was seamless throughout. Our stay was a very neat, cozy and comfortable house with all the equipment provided for a pleasant stay. The garden was kept beautifully tidy. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet, close to Lake Balaton, but it wasn't crowded at all in April. There are also 3 easy hiking trails that we have successfully completed, and walked a lot, biked, and even baked bacon in the garden in these few days. We also brought a pen oven, but it was a shame, because it is also in the house...:-) We had a great time, the nearby Promenade Confectionery is a special gem for Balatongyörök! :-) We'd love to go back!

Petra is a kind and attentive host. He answered all questions very quickly, but in fact, everything was included in the description, so the check-in and check-out went smoothly. We really felt welcome there. Not to mention a little homemade treat we got as a gift!

A clean, tidy house with a nice, helpful owner. Spacious, comfortable rooms, clean bathrooms . I could use some rack for the towels and the rooms where they don't.

Apartment was really clean and cozy. It was first apartment that we stayed, where kids did not want to go out, due to toys in apartment itself. It also has hot tub available during winter inside - shared with other apartments, bit during our stay it was never occupied.

I stayed in this aparment with my elderly parents for 5 days so I wanted a place which is quite central. We got what we wished for. Shops, the railway station, restaurants, the boat harbour and the beaches are within arm's reach. The apartment was very light, airy, clean and convenient for 3 people, also well-equipped with those basic things you need for a short stay. The communication was very quick and easy and even if we travelled there by train, we got a very warm welcome from Hajnalka, the keyholder, who was waiting for us at the railway station. We enjoyed our stay there very much and I hope we can go back soon.

Nice , furnisged , with garden and terrace. Near the beach and railway station. Elena is nice and helpful. Apartament should have a/c and it was just one detali to be improved.

The villa is excellent, it looks better in reality than on photos! We were nine people (2 families and a grandparent), and accommodation was just suitable for us. The view on Balaton Lake was stunning. Swimming pool was nice and clean, its depth makes it suitable for 10-year-old children. Unfortunately, we were a bit unlucky with weather, so we did not enjoy it fully. Balcony was the place where we spent most of our time. I would only recommend some electronic mosquito repellent or similar ones for the evening stays. Janitor was a very helpful person.

Our booking started with an accidental double occupancy of the house and the offer to spend the days of double occupancy in the apartment in Keszthely. Booked in the spring and in the same week still informed about the duplication, it was our choice to accept the offer. Of course, a cancellation would have been no problem for the host. And honestly, it was just right for us to do it that way. In Keszthely it is worth being on site and there is so much to see and Balatonbereny invites you to laze. Both accommodations are sparkling clean, everything you need is available (in Keszthely in particular the kitchen is extremely well equipped, the garden is fantastically laid out in Bereny) and the manager is really great. A soul of a person with the honest effort to get everything you need (we didn't miss anything;)), good tips and just super sweet.

the property is in top-maintained condition and stocked with everything you might need. Communication and handoff went smoothly. We both worked from home during the stay, which is best possible at this place. We had a very nice stay at the end of November to mid-December. The sauna was the highlight for us. We really enjoyed the sauna sessions during the stay very much. Overall, we can therefore only award 5 stars and would book there again.
