The spacious living with spacious Chesterfield sofa overlooks the Winsumerdiep. Onderdendam is a beautiful village 12 km away from the city of Groningen and has a protected village view. Our 2-pers. Canadian canoe and our 3 bikes are available for rent for a reasonable price.

Authentic home in beautiful village in Groningen!

Since April 2022, we have been offering this characteristic property in Warffum. Take a break and enjoy the still undiscovered vast Groninger Hogeland. The house is located directly next to the medieval church on the largest wierde in the Netherlands. Many beautiful authentic villages in the area , the infinite polders and the bird(spot)rich cellars of the Wadden Sea can be admired within cycling distance. A visit to the city of Groningen and islands Schiermonnikoog and Borkum is also worthwhile!

Villa Selva: cosy cottage with spectacular view

Villa Selva is situated on our 1,5ha property on the edge of Loppersum. In this cosy cottage (the 'villa' of its name is slightly overstated) you'll find a living-/dining room, a small kitchen and bathroom with shower. There is one bedroom with one double and one single bed and the open attic has a second double bed. The cottage has small private terrace and garden facing south. On clear nights millions of stars twinkle overhead and the moonshine is so bright, you can read a book in it.

A scenic view of a calm waterway reflects the surrounding greenery and homes. A pedestrian bridge stretches across the water, framed by lush reeds and lily pads. Fluffy white flowers in the foreground add a natural element to the tranquil setting.

Tineke is a spontaneous and nice host. She responds quickly and thinks along in possibilities. The accommodation is neatly furnished and everything is available to stay for a few days. It is in a quiet area where you are surrounded by meadows. The bathroom is nicely decorated with a nice sustainable toilet. Finally, the bed is nice and there is easily enough space for two people and a child. All in all a nice stay!

Fantastic place, very tastefully decorated, stylish down to the smallest details. Beautiful garden, silence, in the evening the starry sky. And a sauna to relax. This unique place is even more beautiful than the photos show. Casper and José welcomed us hospitably.

Very nice quiet place! The place is exactly as shown in the pictures! Nice extra touch was the bunch of pick flowers on the table and the bottle of wine. Very thoughtful!

It was a good stay at Inez's place! Nice cottage, more fun than in the photos. Nice bed, nice kitchen with everything you need. In the middle of the meadows and within walking distance a mini village. Had a delicious breakfast on request and even got delicious oliebollen from Inez on New Year's Eve! Highly recommendable :)

very nice place with lots of sun. He warned us about the steep staircase in advance so we were prepared. overall great place and calm Winsum neighbourhood.

The three of us stayed in Esther's apartment for a week and felt very comfortable there. The apartment is very tastefully decorated. Everything - dishes, etc., are available in sufficient quantity and quality. There's really nothing missing. For the first day and breakfast the fridge was stocked! We were welcomed with chilled sparkling wine. We especially enjoyed the spacious kitchen-living room, which is the center of the apartment. The apartment is located in the old town of Appingedam, a very nice place and a good starting point for trips to Groningen or Leeuwarden. Highly recommend both. We highly recommend this property and Esther as a landlady.
