A beautiful, modern finished secluded cottage on the waterfront. Super beautiful in nature, you can see deer and hares walking. On the other side, water. Nice for cycling, going to the city. Kitchen has everything, nice shower. Clean rooms with nice beds.

We spend a wonderful weekend there with friends. The location is lovely and quiet, but close to lots of activities in the area. Perfect place to stay, we'll definitely come here again.

Petra is a very nice and accommodating host. Everything matched the descriptions. She couldn't help the very mixed weather. Nevertheless, guests arriving with bicycles and possibly with a child trailer should know that there is no storage space. Otherwise, everything was really great!

Do not hesitate to go there! It is the perfect getaway! Everything is well thought, well decorated, we felt so quickly at home and at peace. There are some houses and neighbours around the house but you might only see them when you arrive and leave. The place is private and quiet. The view is exactly like the picture, we spent evenings looking at the sky, the birds, the rabbits and the cows. A great place 😊

The Blue House is really something very special. Mieke and Arnold have decorated it very nicely and it is perfectly equipped! I immediately felt very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed my stay! If I ever come back to Giethoorn, I will definitely want to stay here again 🥰

We stayed in the apartment for two nights for the second time. The apartment is super clean and very lovingly furnished. You have everything you need. Turn on the oven in the evening, no problem. Coffee, tea, two bottles of juice and a bottle of water are available. Cleaning products, vacuum cleaners, etc., everything available. We were completely satisfied. We booked the apartment because of the participation in the Fiets-Elfstedendocht.

Niko’s Garden house is a very special place to stay in the residential area close to centre of Groningen. It is surrounded by blocks of houses, still provides an island of peace and real retreat after heavy day of sightseeing, walking… Niko was very helpful and supportive during our visit, and we would highly recommend his house to travelers who prefer an authentic accommodation experience as an alternative to hotel room. We had a lovely weekend at Anna's house. The communication was perfect, the location super and the house fantastic. Everything was sparkling clean and equipped with every comfort. In addition, Anna and her husband are very friendly and flexible. Recommended to get to know Leeuwarden and its surroundings well.

The only issue is that the ceiling in the upstairs loft is 190cm so if you're tall this cute cottage isn't probably ideal.

We stayed in the Klaver Garage for 7 days in June 2025 and we enjoyed it very much. Everything was furnished with a lot of love and we felt very comfortable. Jannie and Arnold were great hosts, Arnold met us when we drove in and showed us the house. They gave us tips for restaurants in the area and supplied is with everything we needed for our night stay. The place is beautiful and peaceful, 10 minutes drive from Groningen. Would recommend for a peaceful weekend away.

Our stay at Monica and Pasqual’s was excellent. The home is exactly what is depicted in the photos. Monica and Pasqual’s communication with us was excellent and when we asked about our bicycles they provided us with a solid lock so we could safely leave them in the front yard. The huge bedroom windows overlook an intersection and I loved sitting in bed with the morning sun streaming in, enjoying my early morning coffee while watching the local people go about life. The location was perfect for us to walk from the train/bus station or cycle to family and friends.

We had a great time. On the weekend, it was sometimes very loud because many tuners met in the parking lot opposite. During the week it was super quiet and we will be happy to come back

A highly recommended accommodation with everything you need for a stay 😊 For the location, a bicycle is recommended, but also within walking distance if you have no problem walking about 15 minutes from the train station. The apartment offers plenty of space, is very clean and the kitchen offers everything you need! We will be happy to come back!
