The house is surrounded by live oaks, nature and tidal marsh water in the backyard. Litchfield and Pawleys Island beaches are 5 minutes away. Saint Michael Hermitage and retreat is a serene, gated, private home that is for 1-3 guests looking for a quiet stay while traveling or as a retreat destination. You will self check into your Hermitage after you obtain a gate code. There is a prayer chapel close by on the property. It is pet friendly for a well trained pet. It was built in the 1950's and has been through many storms but still stands strong and welcomes guest to its 1 acre river front.
