Amazing mountain experience in Ottsjö in Åre

In this fantastic little mountain village of Ottsjö, our newly built house is located in a high location overlooking the mountain world in Åre. The house is 76 sqm large with panoramic windows and beautiful material choices. In this house you will feel like you're outdoors even when you're sitting inside by the fireplace with a cup of tea. Right behind the house there are several prepared cross-country tracks, scooter tracks, hiking trails and proximity to nice fishing. A perfect house for friends and families with children who also want to bring their dog.

Rent our newly built (Nov 2022) and well-planned 4 rooms with sauna in peaceful environment. High standard with unique options, floor heating and a hard to beat cozy factor that really gives it the cabin feel you want when you go to the mountains. Basically ski in/ ski out with only one walkway of 100 meters to the ski slopes in Tegefjäll / Duved (included in Åre's lift system). 300 meters in the other direction you will find a restaurant, grocery store and the ski bus into Åre (operating during ski season). Our cozy cottage in Edsåsen is a comfortable accommodation for two of 35 sqm. You live at the foot of Renfjället. From the grounds, you have a view of the mountain landscape. The exit location is perfect for tours of the surrounding mountains, regardless of the season. You are never far from skiing trips, alpine skiing, hiking, cycling, paddling or fishing. By car you can reach Undersåker or Edsåsdalen in 5 minutes. Trillevallen in 10 minutes. To Åre it takes 20 minutes and Vålådalen is reached in 30 minutes.

Brattland bike/ski lodge is located scenic above E14, about 8 km from Åre village. Car parking available at the houses. By car, it is 10 minutes to the village. If you want to take a bus, you get down to the stop at E14. You can bring skis or board the bus. In addition to skiing and cycling, you can hike, fish, go dog sledding, rent a snowmobile and a variety of other activities. You can get directly from the house to hiking trails and cross country biking. If you have any questions, you can call us and ask.

Welcome to a modern mountain home for the family. Here you can relax in front of the fire and enjoy the view of the mountain world glimpsed between the treetops. Wood-fired sauna on the plot completed in January 2024. Fine longitudinal tracks and groomed trails are just outside the door. Trillevallens ski area offers both easily accessible off piste as well as a large children's area and good backlunch. Transport lift to the ski area is a few hundred meters from the house or a couple of minutes by car.

Very cozy little cabin containing exactly what was promised. Nice views of the slopes and pleasant furnishings. The cottage met our expectations and we would be happy to come back!

Beautiful view, great location. Easy to get to and from town via Bergbana and ski in/out to the lift 30m from the building. Only down side is there's no microwave or oven, only a stovetop.

Our recent family stay at Marie's and Gösta's house over the winter holidays was absolutely great. The house itself, the facilities, surrounding area and nature were all we could hope for and more. It allowed us to really disconnect from work, enjoy family time, and come back refreshed. We could have moved right in and stayed much longer, it was perfect. We can only highly recommend the house and our hosts, it was truly one of the best stay's we had in many years. Thank you once again.

We were able to check in super spontaneously (within an hour). Nils responded quickly and so we fortunately had a place to stay overnight. It was clean and the bed was especially comfortable!
