Welcome to our old farmhouse, part of which has been transformed into an atmospheric B&B. Particularly decorated with lots of art on the wall and a well-stocked bookcase. Looking forward to Thialf, museum Belvédère or what else Friesland has to offer and in the meantime everything on board in this compact but complete studio: a lovely double bed, a furnished kitchenette with fridge, 2 hotplates, cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery. Guesthouse for 2 adults and 3 children because the other beds are shorter (length 1.80m). Infants also welcome. Toys, high chairs and baby gear are provided. With cozy garden square, private beach as a playground, large lawn and child-friendly labrador. Our guest house was newly built in 2018 in traditional style with oak beams, Frisian yellow stone wall and concrete floor with floor heating. Walking distance to a forest and lake with beach and swimming jetty.

In this region you can make beautiful hiking/biking/MTB trips to the Weerribben and Giethoorn but also to the Drents Friese Woud, Heerenveen Oranjewoud. Or you can choose to move into beautiful Friesland. From Sonnega, all this is fine. We are open to give tips.
