Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Headington

Thyme Cottage is a little gem of a place. The pictures really don't do it justice - it is so cute. We stayed here as we had two nights at Nocturne Festival which was just 10 minutes away so super convenient for this. In terms of the house itself its one of the nicest Airbnb i have stayed in, every little detail so well thought through. it was a super hot day when we arrived but the cottage remained cool and Alison even changed the duvet to a lighter tog for us. It was squeaky clean, lovely little touches like super nice bath robes, 100 acres amenities, a beautiful little garden to sit in which we made plenty of use of , bed was super comfortable and parking was right outside. The interior design of the house was second to none, kitchen well stocked and one of the best showers i have encountered in an Airbnb. Alison is an amazing host, gave recommendations and answered as soon as we messaged. I would definitely stay there again and recommend to all prospective new guests. 10/10.

From start to finish, this beautiful property exceeded every expectation. Phoebe was incredibly responsive, helpful and went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. The space was immaculate, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully stocked with everything a guest could need - from quality linens and toiletries to a well-equipped modern kitchen. The location was ideal - peaceful yet convenient to local attractions. Every detail showed a commitment to comfort and hospitality. It truly felt like a home away from home, but with the service and polish of a five-star hotel in the most stunning location and surroundings. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for something a cut above the usual. We would absolutely return without any hesitation. Nick’s place was exactly as described. It is very bright and clean. There’s a charming little garden in back for tea. It has all the amenities needed. It was convenient walking distance to the park and ride for trips into Oxford or for that matter London, via bus. We rented a car for day trips and it was very easy to park the car on site. The couple of times I asked Nick a question he was always very responsive.

We stayed at Acre Lodge over the late May bank holiday and it was brilliant. The lodge is clean, well laid out and with all the amenities and equipment you need for a restful stay. The fixtures and fittings are all great quality and the hot tub is good fun. The Mason Arms is a five minute walk away and a fantastic pub for food, service and atmosphere. Janet was a great host, and we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!

OMG, I don’t have the adjectives to describe this trip! I booked it for myself, my husband and our dog & it was pure perfection. Lesley was helpful as anything, gave a list of local recommendations and the easiest check in/out instructions. It was clean, fresh bedding and location was PERFECT for where we needed (within a half hour drive of all the tourist spots we wanted to visit). Lesley let us bring our dog, left a card for us and a towel/bag of treats for the dog just in case he wanted a swim in the canal. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Amazing host, wonderful location and just 5*s all round from me! Thanks for a wonderful stay Lesley ❤️

Lovely stay- perfect for our girls get away. Comfortable and relaxing.. plenty of room for 5 people. Communal style bedroom was different but worked for our group. Many thanks Steve!

This was the perfect home away from home. It felt very clean, safe, and cozy.

The apartment is very nice and there’s a lot of space for everyone. The beds are comfortable. We highly recommend this apartment. We kindly ask the proprietary to put a shampoo the next time.

Great flat right in the centre of Wallingford and a short walk to town and all the bars, restaurants and amenities. Very quiet location and filled with natural light. Comfortable and well supplied kitchen. The garden was an added bonus to enjoy the sun. Chris was great to deal with and communicated along the way, right up to when we arrived and days following to see if we needed anything.

A nice flat in a good location to explore Oxford. Some nice local pubs nearby and short walk to the city centre

This place was perfect for my internship at the hospital. There are a number I bus stops verb close to the place, many convenience stores and restaurants. City center is also very close. The place itself is very cozy, the bed is amazing, and the host is very responsive. Definitely recommend and this will definitely be one of my first choices in the future

From finding the property right through to checkout the process was smooth. Communication was quick and clear. The property is exactly as described, and in a great location for what we were visiting for. Checking in was made simple and when we arrived a little earlier than originally planed we were given access, which was much appreciated.

Charming village and a lovely location to spend a few days. The apartment itself was well appointed, light, spacious and had very comfy beds! Freddie and his team were very easy to communicate with.
