The start of this project was a box off a u haul truck. Now it is a cozy tiny home where animals come right up to the deck and you can enjoy sunsets over the pond. We love to have this place where families can come out and get away from the rat race of life and enjoy being out in nature. Guests are welcome to join us for whatever activities we are doing during your stay whether its working in the garden and harvesting fruit, or caring for the animals and milking the goats.

Clovers Cabin

Clover's cabin is a very cozy little place on Straight Mountain on a very curvy road. Update: We now have WIFI. Beautiful view in the winter, you can see for miles. Lots of tree coverage in the summer, which brings privacy. It sits about 200 feet from our home. A nice quiet place other than the animal noises. You can hike right out the back door. Please read entire guest manual under INFO FOR GUESTS, POST-BOOKING DETAILS. Give Code word to confirm it was read. Thank you

Loved St Benedict’s cabin!!! Excellent location on main road to the Shrine. Cabin was very clean and well stocked with anything we needed. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings. Loved taking walks, sitting on porch in the evenings and of course, visiting the Shrine. Will absolutely stay here again!!

In town for a bass tournament. Plenty of room for the three of us. Good place to park a bass boat which is important to me. Did not see outside power but was not an issue as we ran it out a window. Not much traffic on the street which is also a plus. Overall, great experience.

I don't even know where to begin! We arrived in the dark and the place was easy to find because all the nice lights along the driveway! Approaching the treehouse and seeing it for the first time at night is truly magical! I would almost suggest arriving in the evening haha. We had some nice thunderstorms roll through on the second day and Cherisa was very kind to suggest a couple local storm shelters if need be. (We ended not needing it). Watching the lightening from the upper (covered) deck was probably one of my favorite experiences on our trip! The thunder is SO LOUD down in the creek valley! On our last night there was a barn owl in the tree near the hot tub that we got to watch. It's a palace in the trees! Every last detail was just perfect! The linens were all soft and fresh, and the place smelled amazing! We will definitely come back again! Amazing hosts, amazing treehouse. This is a vacation I will be reminiscing for a long time. Thank you so much for everything!

Neighborhood is quiet and just lovely! Made me want to go for a walk. Hosts friendly and responsive. Bed was very comfortable and the whole place felt new. Attractive and functional furnishings. I appreciated that the mini fridge has a freezer since I travel with a cooler. I look forward to staying again whenever I’m overnighting near Birmingham on my travels. Definitely recommend!
