This bijou annexe is cute, quirky and has everything you need for a visit to the Creative Folkestone Music Town. With its own private entrance the annexe has a lower small double bed and an upper small cabin double bed which is great for little people. The en suite bathroom has a shower, wc and basin and you will have clean towels and toiletries. The sun room is a little gem of a place to sit and soak up the views of The English Channel and on clear days you can see France. Free parking

There are 2 good pubs nearby - the Gatekeeper in Etchinghill and the Tiger in Stowting. Dogs are welcome - one medium size or two small ones.

Our home and Annexe is situated just off the main road in the village of Lydden where we are surrounded by a National Nature Reserve and have access to beautiful walks on the chalk downlands and the Whitecliffs of Dover Coastal Walk is also close by. The village of Lydden has good transport links being adjacent to the A2 connecting Dover to London and within the easy reach the High Speed rail route to London St Pancras, Dover ferry port and the Eurotunnel.

Wow what beautiful place! So peaceful and quiet! With lovely scenery and soundings. We absolutely LOVED the hot tub. So relaxing!! The hosts was so friendly, welcoming and couldn’t do Enough for you. They had thought of everything, milk in the fridge,butter and lots more! just made our stay so comfortable! Would definitely return and recommend. What an absolute hidden gem! Thankyou so much!

We had a great weekend. The house is tucked away in the fields—completely private, with no one around except horses, rabbits, and pheasants. It was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The new BBQ was a nice touch, the house was spotless, the bed comfortable, and the toilet very clean. We’d definitely come back.

Fantastic gem of a find! Beautiful views, immediately across from the beach. Easy walk to a few eateries or a short drive/ride to other good food. Peaceful at night and all around a great location. Bed was comfortable and large windows let in plenty of light (bring a sleep mask during summer though, the sun is up early!!). Absolutely would stay here again next time I’m in this neck of the woods!

Barry's place for perfect for our night before le shuttle. It has everything we needed and was so nice to have eggs, bacon, cereal and milk supplied as we couldn't take some of things with us to France. thanks so much.

Good location in town. Close to public transport — bus and train. Close walking distance to all amenities and to the sea. Flat is nicely equipped with all one could need for a short stay, or a longer one. Quiet building. Rear of the flat is great for morning sun. Peter was always quick to communicate if anything arose, and quick to act if need be. Thanks Peter!

Mark’s apartment at the Shoreline in Folkestone is outstanding. From the first message, his communication was clear, quick, and helpful, making the whole experience feel easy and well looked after. The apartment is beautifully designed and very well-equipped. Everything feels high-quality, from kitchen appliances and utensils to furniture, bedding, and lighting. Every detail feels carefully considered. The space is calm, clean, and luxurious without being overdone. I appreciated the thoughtful touches—Diptyque products, a well-stocked kitchen, and a layout that just works. Real care has gone into making the place feel right. The view is fantastic, and the location couldn’t be more convenient. You're close to great restaurants, coffee spots, and the sea, all within a short walk. The building is modern, quiet, and has everything you need nearby. This stay was exactly what we needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
