Beachfront vacation rentals in Havre de Grace

My friends and I stayed here for a wedding weekend, Lauren was responsive and the house is very nice, and impeccably clean. Lauren mentioned that she lives here part time and it shows, this is a home. You have everything you need in the kitchen/bathrooms. She was kind enough to leave emergency items that we may have forgotten and welcome snacks. This place was the perfect weekend getaway and I honestly wish we were able to spend more time and use the house and the surrounding areas to a fuller extent. It’s peaceful and a short walk to a small waterfront.

Our stay here was wonderful! Trey was a fantastic host and was quick to help out with what we needed during our stay. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Having a highchair for our little one was a really helpful bonus! I would highly recommend a stay here.

This house was AMAZING! So much space. The rooms were so large, high ceilings and windows, it was just gorgeous! Trey was very responsive to any questions that we had. Lots of parking, just be sure to leave the far left space open for the host to park, since he lives on site at the back of the home (I missed this piece in the description). We had alot of friends visit that were down for the one day and everyone was blown away by the house, and many want to book in the future. The park next door was great for the kids to spread out..and Saturday was a BONUS, when they had live music playing, a food truck and beer tent..we had our own front row seat all afternoon....can't beat live music, by the campfire, by the water. A few notes for future renters: take your own toiletries (soap/shampoo not provided), the "no access" closet to the right of the stove, is actually where the brooms/trash bags and cleaning supplies are housed and you do have access to it. We had an amazing stay! The house was beautiful, clean, and super comfortable and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Everything was just as described, if not better. Joeanna was a great host and made everything easy. We’d definitely love to come back

Gloria and Jim are near the absolute top of any hosts I have ever stayed with. They made me feel right at home like family or a longtime cherished friend. My large basement suite felt like a private oasis, meeting every possible need over a month long stay; fantastically comfortable bedding and furnishings, expanded cable, high speed internet, more books than a public library, and a large back yard retreat nestled up to picturesque views of the bay shore, kayaks at the ready to set out on a water sporting adventure. My suite had its own private kitchen with abundance of cookware and Keurig coffeemaker with daily replenished pods. Gloria was even gracious enough to restock my fridge each weekend with bacon, eggs and orange juice without me ever even asking. Everything was just perfect during my stay with Gloria and Jim. They are the most delightful hosts you’ll ever have the pleasure to meet. My only regret was checking out after only one month in order to be closer to my workplace.

Our stay was nothing less than exceptional. Beth was so friendly and helpful. She made us feel right at home and anticipated needs before we realized that it would be helpful. The view was amazing and the beach is like a perfect hidden gem. There was never more than one or two people out at any time. Most of or time out, we were the only ones. Beth's house is the definition of peace and tranquility. I hope to stay with her again.

Words can’t describe how incredible this home/property is! You have the option to just sit by the water or in the hammock watching the birds play and fish jump, or you can do one of the MANY activities Molly has provided for you. Kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, pickleball, yards games, pool activities, etc are all provided. The family room is all windows so it not only provides the most incredible breeze- it is great for enjoying all the sights even if you’re not outside in it. Inside there are tons of toys for kids- you do not have to bring a thing if you have kids. They have inside toys, outside toys, kids life jackets, goggles, water balloons, rafts, floaties, pack and play…. Molly and her family have thought of it ALL. We are already talking about coming back. Molly was the best host- responsive, helpful and inviting.

Once again the River house is a well appointed comfortable stay! The swimming pool is a gem! The house is bright and well located; very clean. There is great and comfortable furniture. The views are beautiful and the location is wonderful. We will be back next year!

My family loved staying here. We had my 3-month old and my sister brought her 8-month old so we were looking for a place that could keep everyone entertained in one location and this place did just that! We enjoyed bird watching, collecting rocks on the beach, swimming in the heated pool, and watching the sunset from the hot tub in the evenings. This was also the first time I could say that the listing looked better in person than the pictures. Thank you Joni for letting us stay here! We made some amazing memories!

Grandma's Cottage was adorable, homey and the perfect size for my niece, great-niece and me. We were down in the area for a family birthday party and this was a comfortable and charming place to stay. Kathy thought of everything when she furnished her cottage and we took advantage of being able to cook there and save a little money. The beds were large singles and so comfortable. There is a split system a/c so each bedroom can be set to the the person staying theirs comfort. Kathy has chairs, beach towels and other goodies available for guests. The highlight of the town is its beach area right on the bay. We took chairs down and enjoyed two beautiful sunsets. I know this review is a bit long but the cottage was so cozy and we felt so at home. We got to meet Kathy while we were there and she is such a lovely person. Thanks for having us!

Ken and Lana's beach cottage was adorable, filled with gorgeous artwork and unique beach finds, and even better in person than it looks in the photos! We did plenty of walks along the beach, which was mostly empty and very peaceful. I loved that we could sit in bed or on the couch and see out over the ocean. I didn't realize that there were no curtains/shades so if you're not a morning person - be sure to bring an eye mask to sleep with as the sunrise is extremely bright starting around 5am! It was easy to get to and only a quick 15-20 minute drive into downtown Dover. I would absolutely stay here again!

An unforgettable stay! The photos simply don’t do this place justice. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away — but nothing compared to the breathtaking view of the Bohemia River right outside the window. It felt like our own private slice of tranquility. Marla was a fantastic host — thoughtful, responsive, and clearly passionate about creating a welcoming space. Every detail of the home was spot on, and the atmosphere was even better than expected. Honestly, the whole experience exceeded our expectations. We’re already looking forward to coming back — would definitely book this property again without hesitation.

Ebony is one of the best hosts I’ve ever had through Airbnb. Very responsive and helpful! You want crab at 10pm? She’ll find it for you! The view from the home was gorgeous. Very nice and quiet which allowed us some relaxation. Pleasantly surprised by the fireflies in the backyard and the huge magnolias on the tree (neither can be found in Montana where we came from). Great place. Would stay again if I ever return to the area!

Sue and Mark made us feel like we were popping into a dear friend’s place. The property was even better than the photos with small touches and generosity around every corner—fresh cut wild flowers on the dining room table, an endless list of local recommendations with personal commentary, and in the kitchen: drawers of spices/good olive oil/access to the cute garden. We stayed for a few days but could have easily stayed for a few weeks. It’s clear Sue and Mark host because they want to extend hospitality to others, and we are extremely grateful to have received it!

Beautiful place on the water. We brought our jet skis and we were able to tie them off on his dock during our stay there. Also the launch is only a few houses down from the property. Loved the deck overlooking the water and fire pit in the evening to watch the sunsets. Lots to explore on the water including Havre de Grace. We had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend!!

This home was comfortable for 4 couples to share for a weekend and be able to visit with our other friends that live across the creek. The kitchen was well stocked with everything including some tin foil and plastic wrap - a plus to keep our leftovers. The house has kayaks, bikes and more to feel like home. A great spot on the eastern MD shore!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Diane’s flat in Rock Hall. This location is perfect for a couple who want to be able to walk to the beach, restaurants, bars and the cute village Main Street. Will stay here again if we’re ever in the area!
