Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Havelock-Belmont-Methuen

Our stay was more than we could have asked for. This Airbnb is a hidden gem. We’ve been to many Airbnbs all over the world, and I can tell you this one is really special. The garden is very spacious, with friendly little cows in the background. The inside is also spacious thanks to the beautiful high ceilings. The decor and original church aesthetic they kept makes you feel at home. The outdoor annex for extra guests is so cozy and cute!! it really comes in handy if you are more than two. This Airbnb truly has everything a household needs, from bug spray to doggy bags. We’re usually honest and critical about Airbnbs, and we don’t shy away from pointing out things that could be improved, but with this one, we truly have nothing bad to say. We would come back in a heartbeat!

No notes!! My husband and I had an incredible stay here. Aleks and Amy were truly amazing hosts who went above and beyond for us. The space is lovely and we really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. We will definitely be back!

The rental place is clean and well organized. Nina is quick to respond. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The place was immaculate with thoughtful touches in every corner, clearly a lot of care and attention to detail went into making it feel like a home away from home. One of the highlights was the complimentary tin of maple syrup tapped right from the trees on the property, truly the best we’ve ever had! The location is surrounded by beautiful nature with plenty of hiking trails accessible right from the property. Lori was an exceptional host; warm, welcoming, and incredibly hospitable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Thank you again for everything, couldn’t recommend this place enough!

My family of 5 and 3 dogs enjoyed our stay! It was very relaxing and description was as described and more. Even though the wifi did not work, Elyse was very accommodating and helpful! She remained reliable and available throughout our entire stay. Would definitely recommend this stay to family and friends.

Our first visit to this beautiful home was absolutely wonderful! Lesley and Ian were incredibly friendly, responsive, and hospitable throughout. The home itself is a serene retreat with stunning green views, and it was clean. We especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities, like the availability of kayaks, which added to our enjoyment. Their flexibility and support regarding checkout, even allowing us to enjoy the outdoor space after the checkout time, made our stay even more relaxing. We had a fantastic time and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Derek and Doreen were extremely friendly, responsive, and hospitable, everything in the suite and in the backyard was as shown, if not better. They even gave us a gift as we had mentioned our wedding day was the day prior, couldn’t recommend them and this place enough, we would book again in a heart beat, thanks for everything Derek and Doreen!

This was our fourth visit!! We have now stayed in all four rooms and we were in the King’s Den this time!! It felt like coming home as we were greeted with a hug from Taurean and Robert. We had a peaceful three night stay where we spent our time relaxing on the dock, in the hot tub and paddling the river in the paddle boat. Looking forward to our next visit. Glad to have found this little gem!!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Simona’s place! The property was beautiful with serene lake access, and the two decks made our evening hangouts especially comfortable and enjoyable. The house was well-equipped with all the amenities we needed for a stress-free and relaxing stay. Anuhea's space is very cozy and inviting. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you may need. The outdoor space is beautiful - You forget you're in the city. The location is awesome, quiet neighborhood but just minutes from downtown. Her instructions to get to the Airbnb space was spot on! I also had the chance to chat with Anuhea and she is just a lovely person. Also, they have the fluffiest, friendliest outdoor cat that is sure to great you upon arrival. Eugene was the best welcome-wagon I've ever had lol.

Great place to stay! Very peaceful, felt very remote and isolated but was only 10 mins from town.

We had an amazing stay at katherine’s, the place is gorgeous and right by the water. The place is very clean and very cozy. There are a lot of bugs as expected but they provided an electric bug zapper which was very helpful. They have a bbq and a very cute hut outside to hang out under with a net to protect from the bugs. And the canoe was a great addition as well. we wish we could’ve stayed longer. The wifi was actually way better than we thought, we were able to watch shows and movies on Netflix which was great! We would love to come again

We had a great time with our families during the May long weekend. The location is very beautiful and a rare find.. The theme is well laid out and rooms are in excellent condition 👍🏼 Would definitely love to visit again.

Needed a weekend to unplug and spend some time away from work. The cabin was lovely. Trails were well labeled. Instructions on how to operate and navigate the amenities were helpful and clearly laid out. Would recommend if you’re looking for a weekend escape.

John and Beth’s cabin exceeded every expectation! From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were staying in back home where we used to go when we are younger rather than just booking an Airbnb. The cabin itself is stunning—beautifully maintained, cozy, and equipped with everything you could possibly need with comforts of home. But what really made this stay special was John and Beth themselves. They struck the perfect balance of being incredibly welcoming and helpful while still giving us our space to enjoy the getaway. The location is perfect for a peaceful retreat, and we loved every minute of our weekend here. Can’t wait to explore more of what the area has to offer with John and Beth as our guides. If you’re looking for more than just a place to stay if you want an experience that feels like visiting family this is it. We can’t recommend John and Beth highly enough!

This is a perfect getaway for a couple or small family! The cabin was well stocked and check in was a breeze! This is very private cottage and we enjoyed sitting together by the fire enjoying music and relaxation. Public beach access is a 5 minute drive and lots to see and do around Haliburton. Looking forward to renting in the winter!

This was our 4th time here! It just gets better and better! The upgrades are great. Example new bed and fountain in the pond 😊 The farm animal sounds and the birds singing add to the atmosphere! The stream is always the highlight for us! Our souls are recharged and our dogs are happily exhausted! Don’t forget to try their peach jam!! 😊

We had a wonderful stay at the Atkins Hideaway. Cassie is very friendly and polite. We enjoyed how quiet and private it is at the cabin. The cabin itself is a work of art and Cassie and Jason have put in a lot of effort to ensure guests are able to easily get up to speed on using the cabin.
